Woman Witch Goddess: Oracle Messages

This is a very special practice in which oracle cards are used to guide the message of four Goddesses that join you in a circle around a fire. Each one has a message for you that may bring inspiration or guidance into your life or present an idea or reflection. I created this special meditation in honour of my latest book, which features some of my meditations.

You Welcome woman which goddess This is your time So take as long as you need to find a soft warm comfortable space to be a place where you can feel supported and Set down the weight you carry upon your shoulders a Place where you can fully surrender into the earth And be supported in the hands of Mother Earth beneath you Allow your breaths to be easeful Slow and unhurried each deep inhale Drawing in anything you wish to draw in and each deep easeful exhale Letting go of anything you wish to let go of as we take a journey To meet the goddesses And to journey forth into what messages There may be for us today And as you allow yourself to sink restful easeful into a place of peace and calm You allow yourself to drift into a place of ease a place of intuition of compassion and kindness Place of magic and spirit and of listening To our own Heart Our own breath Our own breath and our own inner voice And as we leave the busyness and the comings and goings of the outside world behind us for a short time We'll envisage that we are resting in a place in the natural world Somewhere where we can see the night sky We may find ourselves in a garden or park on a beach Or on a cliff beside an ocean We may find ourselves in wooded forest or an open meadow You may visualize yourself anywhere from memory or imagination This beautiful place of nature can be anything you need Allow your senses to absorb the space around you What can you see Are there tall trees surrounding you?

Green grass Or soft white sand Can you smell flowers and plants on the night air?

Or is it the salty scent of seaweed and ocean mists?

Is it the deep scent of the sea?

Is it the deep citrus scent of pine needles?

Or jasmine floating on warm evening breezes?

Can you feel the surface beneath your feet?

Is it soft green grass or warm crumbling sands?

Allow yourself to fully visualize this special place This is your special place And as you gaze to the skies from this place You see a beautiful shining moon above you And sparkling stars Creating sparkles of light on a velvety sky Deep,

Dark and warm The night sky surrounds you like a warm blanket And from your place of taking in your surroundings You see for the first time A beautiful flickering bonfire Dancing and casting shadows through the evening air And around this bonfire are four figures Each wearing beautifully coloured robes That sparkle and glint in the firelight You feel drawn to join them in the circle And as you complete this circle around the fire There are now five You and four very special beings That have been drawn here to night sky And you feel drawn to join them in the circle And four very special beings that have been drawn here to night Like the five elements of earth,

Air,

Fire,

Water and spirit Five have come together this night To convey and hear a special message In unison all five take a seat around the fire And wordlessly the four figures beside you Take down the hoods of their robes And you see their beautiful faces for the first time Before you are four of the goddesses Four very special beings And it may be that you see these four aspects of the Divine Feminine As women that you know and love You may see them as light or sparkle You may see them as colours or energy They may not fully form in your mind until we are introduced to each one But already as these four faces look at you with such kindness and compassion You know that the messages they have for you Will be ones delivered with love and sage counsel The first beautiful goddess to address you Is the Roman goddess of wisdom Minerva Here in this aspect she represents beliefs And her wise words for you are this Carry your chosen beliefs carefully The time has come to discard beliefs that no longer serve you That weigh you down,

That hold you back It is time to invest belief in yourself,

Your own power,

Your own beauty and your own skills You thank Minerva for her message and her love And take a moment to absorb what she has said to you The second beautiful goddess to address you is the Roman goddess of wisdom The second goddess is the divine feminine archetype the lady of beasts The Sumerian fertility figure She is often seen surrounded by animals Who connect to her cycles of fertility,

Of looking after her young Of guarding carefully those she loves And the lady of beasts is here today in this circle To bring you a message on relationships Her message is this As you begin your important journey Seek out and claim who you are The lady of beasts is a creatrix And just as she creates,

She encourages you to create relationships And groups of support that nurture and nourish your highest good Take a moment to reflect upon what she has told you And thank her for her message and her love Our third beautiful goddess is the Hindu goddess Lakshmi The goddess of abundance And here her message for you is to celebrate abundance in all its forms And nurture abundance in your life To celebrate your skills,

Your powers You are abundance You are limitless Take a few moments to absorb the messages that Lakshmi has passed on to you here And thank her for her love And the final goddess to turn to you in this circle is the Japanese goddess of the sun Amaterasu,

The goddess of beauty and sunlight Here in this form she brings you messages to encourage you To gently guide you towards power,

Freedom and the illumination that awaits you on your path And a reminder that you are beautiful As you absorb these beautiful words from Amaterasu You feel the warmth and light of the fire The warmth and light of the goddesses shine upon you And you bask in the warmth and wisdom they have passed on to you today And with a smile You know it is time for the goddesses to leave As the glow past the horizon signals the coming of the sun The coming of power,

Light and illumination is on its way And as the sun peeks over the horizon The first rays of light cast golden shadows And all at once the goddesses are alight with warmth and glow And they are gone You are left here with your thoughts and the comfort and love they have brought to you today And you feel that amongst their words is a little wisdom that means something special to you That you can take with you on your journey And you know that they will watch over you as you take your steps As you learn and grow Embracing the power within The power that is always within you The power you possess as woman,
