Adopting a posture of confidence.
Gently close your eyes,
Taking your focus inward and begin to tune in to the rhythm of your breath.
Take a deep breath,
Allowing yourself to exhale out anything that might be holding you back today.
Setting aside any wandering thoughts,
Allow your hips to get heavy as you deepen your connection to this energy center.
Breathe in to relax the mind,
Breathe out to relax the body.
Breathe in strength and stability,
Breathe out any feelings of doubt and uncertainty.
With every breath you become more grounded,
Safe and secure,
Confident in the knowledge that you belong.
Your basic needs met in the Muladhara chakra,
Signifying your right to be here.
Imagine the deep rich red of the root chakra located at the base of the spine and the solid foundation of the earth beneath you.
Your earliest family memories are stored in this chakra,
Bringing you a sense of belonging.
This chakra,
When in balance,
Keeps us connected to our bodies and rooted to the gravity that supports us,
Which keeps us present.
You are grateful and happy for this support that brings you focus and discipline.
With this strength and stability,
You are able to blossom and grow,
Manifesting your life's desires.
Your body is nourished,
You enjoy abundant health and energy and you are in tune with nature in all its glory.
You choose balance,
Harmony and peace and express it in all aspects of your life.
You are a divine being,
A child of the universe.
You are meant to be here and you are on your true path to prosperity,
Love and happiness.
To further support the root chakra,
Repeat the following affirmations out loud or in your mind.

Bring your awareness back to your surroundings,
Back to your body and your breath.
Take a nice deep integrating breath as you slowly open your eyes.
