Welcome to this throat chakra meditation.
I'm Sandra Buckingham and I will be your guide as we explore the qualities and lessons of the Vishuddha Chakra.
Located at the throat,
This energy center governs our communication and self-expression.
When in balance,
We are able to listen compassionately and speak with confidence from a place of truth and sincerity.
Vishuddha means purification,
Which opens us up to a higher level of sensitivity and inner discovery,
Helping us tap into our creative energy and bring our ideas to reality on a physical and relational plane.
As you settle in,
I invite you to close your eyes and visualize a bright blue sky or perhaps an infinite turquoise sea.
Follow the gentle rhythm of your breath and allow this rhythm to guide you to a place of relaxation.
If you can take your breath to the back of your throat,
Creating a more audible sound like an ocean wave going into shore and out to sea.
Simply becoming at ease,
Let your body breathe itself as we begin this meditation.
Today and every day,
You are in tune with all those who cross your path and you communicate with grace and honesty.
You recognize the needs of others,
Practicing ahimsa,
Compassion and kindness.
The true clear blue of the throat chakra purifies your many thoughts,
Bringing you resonance and harmony with the rhythm of life.
Your creative ideas become defined and you freely express yourself with authenticity.
When all around is confusion,
You are able to quiet your mind and listen to your inner voice,
Picking up the subtle vibrations of energy and channeling your awareness to unite,
Share and expand your world.
As the throat bridges the mind and heart,
Your thoughts manifest from a place of love and clarity.
You speak clearly and listen intently,
The element of sound in the vishuddha chakra freeing your voice like a beautiful song.
To further support the throat chakra,
Repeat the following affirmations out loud or in your mind.
I always speak from the heart.
I delight in my self-expression.
I am worthy of being heard.
I listen to the needs of others.
Bring your awareness back to your surroundings,
Back to your body and your breath.
Add some gentle movement as you gradually return to the rhythm and flow of life around you.
Quickly open your eyes,
Your heart and soul to a day of truth,
Authenticity and self-expression.
Namaste.
