I'm Sandra Buckingham and I will be your guide as we explore the qualities and lessons of the Anahata Chakra through this short meditation.
When the heart chakra is in balance,
Love flows freely.
We are more able to see goodness and balance our emotions.
As we take this journey together,
You may want to visualize the color green or bring to mind one of your favorite people,
Places or memories.
Find a quiet area where you will be undisturbed and a comfortable seat or lay down if you wish,
Closing your eyes gently and focusing on the rhythm of your breath.
As you settle in,
Bring your palms together at your heart center for a few moments.
Notice the sensation as your heart lifts into your hands on the inhalation and softly falls away on the exhalation.
When you feel yourself relaxing,
Release your arms to your sides or in your lap as we begin this meditation.
Today and every day,
Your heart is open to the beauty that surrounds you.
Nature in all its glory lifts your spirits and fills you with vitality.
At the same time,
You enjoy a deep sense of inner peace where in these precious moments of serenity,
Everything is well in your world.
The air element of the heart chakra brings expansiveness,
Freeing you from the hurts of the past and softening you so you are able to give and receive love and feel empathy and compassion toward others.
The vibrant fresh green of Anahata and its yin quality encourages flow and harmony,
Keeping you centered,
Unstruck,
Unhurt.
You are in tune with your essence and the feeling of joy and fullness in your heart opens you to all possibilities as you reach out with unconditional acceptance and love.
A radiant glow of warmth and understanding emanates from you,
Inviting loving energy and all around you flourishes.
Your heart,
At the center of your being,
Integrates the upper and lower chakras,
Uniting mind and body,
The physical and spiritual,
Heaven and earth,
Keeping you connected to the ground beneath you as you grow,
Transcend and surrender to the abundance of life around you.
To further support the heart chakra,
Repeat the following affirmations out loud or in your mind.
I am kind to myself.
I allow love to fill me up and guide me in all my actions.
I am able to let go of the past to forgive myself and others.
I love myself and others fearlessly.
Bring your awareness back to your surroundings,
Back to your body and your breath.
Take a nice deep integrating breath.
Slowly open your eyes,
Your heart and your soul to a day of joy.
