Meeting Myself with Compassion Today I see myself in the mirror and smile.

I open my arms wide and give myself a hug.

I hold myself in this pose,

In this gesture,

And repeat to myself,

I love you.

I close my eyes and take a breath.

Holding myself feels safe and sweet.

I need this simple gesture more than anything else today.

My body listens carefully.

My heart feels the love and I refuel on self-compassion.

Today,

Compassion starts from me,

For me.
