Morning Prayer for Calming Anxiety Dear Loving Presence,

As this new day begins,

I awaken with a tender heart.

Some mornings feel heavy.

Some mornings my mind runs ahead of me.

But right now,

In this moment,

I return to my breath.

I return to the quiet place inside me where peace is always waiting.

I ask for your gentle guidance today.

Help me loosen the grip of fear and soften the pressure I place on myself.

Let each inhale remind me that I am safe.

Let each exhale release what I cannot control.

Ground my spirit in trust.

Steady my thoughts with compassion.

Wrap my body in a sense of safety so that I may move through my day with clarity and calm.

May I remember that anxiety is not a personal feeling.

It is simply a signal,

A whisper,

Asking for care.

Today I choose to meet that whisper with kindness.

I choose patience.

I choose presence.

I choose to honour myself gently.

Help me recognize the small moments of grace around me.

A warm light,

A quiet breath,

A simple truth that I am not alone.

Remind me that I am supported,

Guided and held in ways I may not always see but can always return to.

As I step into this day,

May peace walk beside me,

May calm settle within me,

And may I carry myself with love,

One breath,

One moment,

One small step at a time.

Take a deep breath in,

Softening the mind,

Softening the body,

And let the day begin gently.
