Sit comfortably,
Let the body be at ease,
Let the eyes gently close,
Allow the attention to settle inward,
Allow the breath to flow naturally,
There is to attain,
Nowhere to go,
You are already that,
Simply be,
Sounds may arise,
Let them be,
Sensations may arise,
Let them be,
Let the attention withdraw from the outer world,
Now gently notice,
A thought appears,
Ask yourself,
To whom does this thought arise,
Let the answer come naturally,
Now inquire,
Who am I,
Remain with the sense of I,
Not the body,
Not the mind,
Not any thought,
Investigate,
Who is the thinker,
A thought appears,
Ask again,
To whom has this thought arisen,
Do I know who this me is,
Who am I,
What is this I,
I take myself to be,
I assume myself to be,
Can I find this I,
Where is this I,
Seek to know who you are,
Let the mind turn back towards its source,
Towards the source of this I thought,
Do not follow thoughts,
Do not fight thoughts,
Simply trace them back,
The mind is only a bundle of thoughts,
Of all thoughts,
The I thought is the root,
Only think of the root of the thought,
Seek it and find it,
Each time a thought appears,
Return again and again towards its source,
Rest in that turning,
As inquiry deepens,
Thoughts may slow down,
No effort now,
Effortless being,
No question now,
Just being,
A stillness may be felt,
Do not grasp it,
Do not describe it,
Be still,
Stillness is the sole requisite for the realization of the self,
When the mind,
Which is the cause of all cognition and of all actions,
Becomes quiescent,
The world will disappear,
The self is ever-present,
You have only to remove the veil obstructing the revelation of the self,
If the sense of I arises again,
Gently inquire,
Who am I,
Let the I sink into its source,
The I thought will disappear and only the self will remain,
No thinker,
No seeker,
Only being,
Rest as you are,
Remain as you are,
Silent,
Effortless,
There is no greater mystery than this,
That we keep seeking reality,
Though in fact we are reality,
Nothing has been gained,
Nothing was missing,
You are the self,
Reality,
Remain as the self,
