The aim of all of my everyday mindfulness techniques is that they are to be quick and simple that you can do anywhere at any time.
And this is probably one of the first that I used on myself and I started to share it with my students when I was a teacher.
And it's labelling objects,
Right?
So you just want to look around the room.
It sounds really simple and silly.
You just want to look around the room and label the things you can see.
Magazines,
Books,
Glasses,
Pens,
Whatever it might be.
This opens up your peripheral vision by scanning the space you're in.
It may feel silly,
But I promise you it's really powerful.
Give it a try.
