This technique is one of my favourites to practise on a commute when you can take in those around you and find ways to silently compliment them. Naturally, this technique helps to counteract our negativity bias which means it's often easier to do when we are feeling calm & relaxed (ventral vagal state) but you can of course do it at any time.
