And welcome to your meditation to connect with the beautiful animal spiller spirit,
Gorilla.
Just slowly connect with your body.
Feel the support that you're getting from the surface that you're sitting or laying on.
Really take your time and breathe into it.
Reconnect with that self-love.
Reconnect with being here for you,
Healing your soul,
Resting your soul.
And doing the same for your body.
Resting your body,
Healing your body.
And just pay attention to the sounds that you're hearing.
Maybe start with the sounds that are far away outside of your room.
And then pick a couple of different sounds.
Then come closer to home,
Closer to yourself,
And listen to the sounds within your room.
See what comes up that's paying attention to you.
And then bring it even closer to home.
Listen to the sounds your own body is making.
You can connect with your breath.
Maybe a sense of your heartbeat.
And then feel that with every breath that you're taking,
You're slowly coming back home to you.
And now connect with your body.
Connect with your feet,
Your lower legs,
Your knees,
Your upper legs,
Your hips,
Your belly,
Your lower back,
Your chest,
Your shoulders.
Connect with your upper arms,
Your elbows,
Your lower arms,
Wrists,
Hands and fingers.
Connect with your neck,
Your head.
And just take a really deep breath in to connect with all of it,
Your whole body.
Just connect with it.
Oh,
A big sigh.
That sigh that you make when you come home,
When you come home to you.
Feel how it is to be calm.
Connect with that feeling of taking time out for you.
And know that this is a present for you,
Being here now.
I invite you in your mind's eye that you are envisioning this beautiful,
Beautiful forest.
There are enormous big trees.
And they are so tall,
They go up and up and up.
Some of the trees,
Their roots are just outside the earth.
You have to kind of jump over them,
Which brings up a little bit of a giggle,
Like jumping over roots.
Every time you jump,
You just land on your two feet and you feel how the earth is just carrying you.
Some of the trees are so big,
You can't even get your hands around it.
And when you look all the way up through the leaves,
You can see the sun coming down.
You see all these beautiful beams shining down on the trees all the way to the earth,
All the way on you.
There are different sounds.
You can hear birds.
There's some rustle on the floor.
It feels peaceful and calm.
Every step you take,
You get more and more grounded,
Grounded to your environment,
Grounded of being here with you,
With nature.
You hear some birds singing.
It's beautiful.
And then you follow this path,
You enter this open space in the forest.
It has big leaves on it.
Beautiful branches are there.
Within the branches,
You can find nuts and seeds.
And it's fun.
Then you take,
You pay attention and you see this beautiful group of gorillas.
They're all kind of laying and chatting and sleeping.
It's calm and peaceful,
But there's also business going on.
Everyone is connecting and being together.
You take a moment to just watch them,
To observe what is going on.
And if there is anything that is calling out to you,
Just take a moment and feel into that.
What is calling out to you within this group?
One of the gorillas noticed you and gets up and walks all the way towards you.
You're wondering if you should leave or stay.
But then when the gorilla comes really close,
It offers you its hand.
And you put your hand in the hand of the gorilla.
And you feel how you're being invited to join the community.
While you're walking into the group,
You feel that some of them like to touch you,
But it feels gentle and kind.
And you are invited to come sit on a really beautiful place that is crafted with leaves and grass.
And it's supported.
And when you sit down,
You feel very,
Very safe.
The gorilla who invited you sits next to you.
And the two of you just look at each other.
And then you notice that the gorilla closes its eyes.
And you feel the invitation to do the same.
You're still holding hands,
You noticed.
And this is such a beautiful feeling of being part of this beautiful troop.
You feel how you are aligning with the gentleness,
The kindness.
And at the same time,
You feel how you're connecting with yourself,
Connecting with your inner strength.
While you're sitting here,
You feel that you're opening up this beautiful space to communicate together.
And you sense that you can ask questions and can sit together.
You start to notice how safe you feel and how your inner strength is opening up a power in you and a calmness in you.
Just take this moment to communicate or just sit and feel the healing power of gorilla.
The sense of being safe.
Just be.
You really feel how this healing moment for you has calmed you down.
You also start to embrace how this strength,
This inner dignity,
This being part of an amazing community that loves you just the way you are,
How healing that is.
You look at the gorilla and you know it's time to go home to your home.
The two of you get up and the gorilla walks you back to the side of the forest where you will be walking your own path.
You feel how everyone is saying goodbye to you,
How welcome you are to come back in this troop.
You get this beautiful strong hug from the gorilla and leaves you with a sense of your own boundaries and love yourself.
You look one more time and say thank you and then you walk back to your own path and you feel taller,
Straighter,
More connected.
When you turn around one more time you see that the gorilla has walked back to his own troop and you feel calm about it.
You're on your own path.
You're skipping over some of the tree roots and making your way back to your own to go home and enjoy the present of today.
You slowly start to feel the surface that you're sitting on or laying on,
Connecting with the sounds in your room,
Connecting with your body that feels relaxed and strong at the same time.
Before you open your arms,
Get your hands together in front of your heart.
Namaste for being here,
For taking the time for you to connect with yourself and to connect with the beautiful spirit of gorilla.
You know you can come back to this space at any time.
Then slowly start to wiggle your toes and your fingers.
Before you open your eyes just give yourself one more big stretch.
And when you breathe out,
Open your eyes and connect with the beautiful place around you.
Connect with you,
Your body,
And know that you're home.
You're home in your perfect home.
