Welcome to this meditation.
This meditation is part of the animal wisdom of the live event on Insight Timer every week on Friday.
You are welcome to join but I'm very grateful that you are listening to this recording.

For now enjoy this meditation.
I invite you to sit back or find a comfortable place and really feel how you are sitting.
Wiggle those shoulders a little bit and your body and maybe stretch out those arms really long you know so that you can start ready to fly with a raven and then just lean back or lay down and take a really deep breath in and breathe out.
Breathe in and breathe out.
Good.
One more time.
Breathe in and when you breathe out slowly close your eyes.
And just really relax into your chair.
Feel your feet onto the floor.
If you're laying down feel your whole body being relaxed and being carried and then before we're gonna just check in with our body if there's anything that we need to move.
Maybe that's something that's a little bit itchy.
Just take your time and then check in with your feet,
Your ankle,
Your whole leg.
Check in with your hips.
Let's check in with our belly,
Our chest,
Shoulders.
Nice relaxed.
Check in with your neck if you need just to move them from side to side and then with your check in with your head and take a breath in and just leave a really big sigh.
Then while you're sitting here I want you to focus on your thoughts,
All these thoughts that are with us for good reasons.
I want you to imagine that there is a beautiful beautiful chest in front of you and just for now you can just leave your thoughts in the chest and just put them in there after the meditation if you want to.
You are welcome to go back to these thoughts or you can make the decision to leave them a little bit longer there.
Just put them in there for now and just know that we're going to just be here and present to be here and while you're doing this take a breath in and breathe out.
Good.
Awesome.
And in your mind's eye I want you to envision that you are sitting on this beautiful beautiful rock.
Such a comfortable rock to sit on.
It has those really nice spots where you can just sit in and you feel supported.
You're sitting there in a beautiful sun that is just the perfect temperature and the wind blows a little bit.
You know,
Just playing with your hair.
You're just so at ease at this place,
At this nature.
When you take a breath in you just smell flowers and fresh grass.
It's just really really nice.
You feel nurtured.
It's just so calming.
In the distance you can hear these beautiful birds.
So I'm gonna look up and you just see this beautiful beautiful raven and he's coming your way.
He kind of stops flying and you can hear how he's being carried on the wind.
Really you can hear the swoosh and he is slowly slowly coming down and he lands next to you on your rock.
He is just a beautiful creature.
Amazing winds.
And this black color has this sparkle over it.
It's just these feathers are just gorgeous to watch.
And he just connects with your heart straight away.
You feel at ease and you feel this calm coming over you.
And he invites you to join him on this flight.
And you would love to join him.
So step into his energy and then together you take off.
He just spreads his wings and you're joining him and going all the way up into the air.
It's so amazing to feel the wind carrying you up and up and up.
And the two of you fly into these clouds.
And for a moment you kind of lose visibility.
But he keeps going and he knows he has his directions.
And then when you come out of this cloud you're into this completely new world.
It's amazing,
Beautiful,
Gorgeous world.
It's this place that you visit when you dream.
In your daydreams it's just nice and calm.
You fly over houses,
Green grass.
So you ask the Raven where are we going?
And he says I'm gonna take you to the place where you can envision and find the answers that you are looking for right at this moment.
And while he is explaining to you where we're going he is slowly descending and going lower and lower.
And he lands at this beautiful,
Beautiful place.
Take a moment and look around what all there is for you to explore and to enjoy.
And enjoy this feeling of peaceful and calm and safe.
It's just an abundant place.
You find a chair to sit on and you look at the Raven and the Raven says yeah sit in the chair and just ask the question that you need an answer to and wait and see what's happening.
So take a breath in then breathe out and just sit in this chair.
I watch the time and just listen to the answers that you are getting.
Know that all is well and all is safe.
You you If you feel that your mind is wandering that's okay.
Take a breath in.
Breathe out.
And just take your focus back to your question.
Breathe out.
Then when you feel ready you can stand up from your chair and just walk around in this beautiful magical place that you are.
And pay attention to the things that you are seeing.
Maybe there are some tools that you like to pay some more attention to or book titles that are up that you were looking for.
Maybe there is even something that you would like to hold close to your heart and take back for you to just fall back on to have a support.
This is your magical place.
This is the place of support,
Creativity,
Being safe.
You can take a moment and listen to the sounds that are there.
Maybe there are particular colors that are grabbing your attention.
And then when you feel complete you can walk back and find your friend Raven to connect with him.
He's so glad that you came with him on this little trip.
So he invites you back into his energy and the two of you just step into it and fly back up into the air.
When you feel this calm and this ease every time the wings go up and down you feel how you can trust that you are being carried and that there is support.
You fly through the clouds again and this time it feels so safe and secure because you have your answers,
Your tools,
You feel how your heart rhythm has just slowed down.
When you get through the clouds you see that you are slowly going down and down back to your comfortable rock that you were sitting on.
When you land here you find your place and you sit down and just have a short conversation with Raven to thank him for the time spent and the energy shared and thank him for the wisdom that you've picked up here.
And he is glad and invites you to come back anytime.
Raven takes off,
You can see him fly,
You can feel the wind of his wings when they move and push the air towards you.
He slowly disappears although it seems like he can still see his sparkle going into the air.
You start to familiarize here with the rock and you feel how the rock is becoming your chair or the ground that you're laying on.
You start to wiggle your toes,
Move your body and take a breath in and breathe out.
Take a breath in and out.
And with the next in breath and out breath slowly open your eyes and just have a look around where you're sitting,
Familiarize yourself with your beautiful room where you're at and just check in for a little bit like how you're feeling,
How this calm has arrived and then just take a moment and write down the messages that you were getting and the colors you may see or the gift that you've picked up.

Thankyou. I feel a strong affinity with birds and the Raven is one of my specials . When I see and hear one I know they are speaking to me. The flying was so uplifting. I look forward to listening again and to your other meditations. Now to sleep in peace.
