This 20-minute practice is designed to help the participant learn to sit with attention on the breath. The meditation begins with some guidance as to how to approach the upcoming time and then guides the participant into a seated posture. From there the meditation guides the participant to feel into the posture and slowly moves towards attention to the breath. The attention on the breath is noted in various areas of the body where the breath can be detected and then invites the participant to experience the process of breathing from beginning to end. The meditation finally ends with a few words of congratulations and closes finally with three rings of a bell.
