This practice is best completed sitting upright either in a chair,
On a mat,
However is comfortable for you.
As we begin,
Let's take a big cleansing.
Inhale through the nose and exhale release through the mouth.
Begin to settle into your space.
Feel the breath begin to slow down.
Calling back all your energy to this very moment.
Start to feel both of your sit bones rooting down toward the earth.
Imagining that roots are growing out of each of your sit bones.
And watching them as they grow down toward mama earth.
Feeling the security and the warmth there.
Feel your navel tuck in slightly toward the spine.
Feeling the spine strong rooted out of the sit bones.
Feeling each vertebrae lengthen as you feel the arms heavy on your legs,
Shoulders melting down your back away from the ears.
The back of your neck long and the crown of your head lifted.
Feeling rooted in the sit bones and lifted from the crown of your head.
Start to bring awareness to what you can hear.
Listening for the sound that is furthest away from you.
Stepping into any sound that's outside of the room you are in.
And then noticing the layers of sound move in a little closer to the sounds of the room you are in.
Maybe it's the buzzing of the lights.
Maybe it's white noise completely.
Just listen intently to your surroundings.
And start to move in closer still to the sounds right around your body.
Listening to the space that's just outside of your body.
And then begin to listen to the sounds of your own body.
The sound of your heartbeat.
Maybe the blood flowing through your body.
Any noises at all that your body is making.
And begin to listen to the thoughts.
Noticing each thought as if it's cars on a highway.
Not jumping on a car and riding with it.
But just watching each thought go by.
Noticing the color,
The shape.
And then letting it pass.
Watching the next one come and letting it pass.
Watch the next thought and let it go.
Each time a thought arises,
Remind yourself to return to focusing on the breath.
Without any control over the breath.
Just witnessing your body breathing itself.
Begin to feel the pulsing sensations of your ears.
Feeling the earlobes and the inner ears.
And bring your attention to the space between the inner ears,
The center of the skull.
All the muscles of the face release.
The jaw relaxes,
Hangs heavy.
The space between the eyebrows smooths out.
All the muscles of the face soften.
And to feel the pulsing sensation of the crown of your head.
Feel the pulsing sensations of the palms of your hands.
Feel each of your ten fingers.
Now both of your hands pulsing with life force energy.
Feel the center of your chest and your heartbeat.
Feeling the energetic heart in the center of the chest beneath the rib cage.
Feel the center of your throat.
Feeling the base of the tongue and the tip of your tongue.
Feel the tip of your nose.
Feel the space between the eyebrows.
As you sit here,
Notice the slowness of your breath.
And begin to notice the small seed of light beneath your sit bones in the earth.
And watch as that seed of light starts to make its way over to the roots which are growing out of your sit bones.
And the seed of light is traveling up your roots,
Making its way to the root of your spine.
And the security of this pulsing seed of light at the root of your spine.
And then watch as that light travels up,
Resting at your sacrum.
And the seed travels further up the spine,
Resting at the back of your heart,
The space between the shoulder blades.
And watch as your heart pumps blood into the seed,
Sending it its own warmth and security.
Symbiotic relationship between the seed of light and your heart.
Watch as this begins to grow and a little sprout begins to come out of your heart.
The sprout begins to grow up your spine,
Up the back of your neck,
Into your skull,
Growing up to the crown of your head.
And watch as a flower begins to bloom from the sprout resting on the crown of your head.
And to notice what your flower looks like,
What it feels like.
Notice what it smells like.
Becoming totally aware of your spine,
Being this rooted,
Beautiful flower.
Roots buried deep into Mother Earth,
Growing through the beautiful body that is your own.
Feeling a beautiful,
Healing flower on the crown of your head.
Begin to watch as the flower on top of your head starts to close its petals,
Tucking itself away in the center of your skull where it will reside.
And watch as the tips of your roots deep in the earth begin to coil up,
Being called back to your sit bones,
Back to your spine.
Feel the warmth and security and the healing benefits of this flower that is growing from the root of your spine and rests in the center of your skull.
And know that this flower can bloom to the crown of your head and the roots can reach down into the earth whenever you may want them to.
This flower is here for you,
It is here to heal you.
This flower will be with you for the rest of your time.
Really start to bring your awareness back to the breath.
Begin to flutter the eyes open and stare at the tip of your nose.
And slowly in your own time,
Wake your body up from the sealing practice and let this energy carry you throughout the rest of your day and the rest of your weeks.
