While you begin your cycles of full and grounding breaths,
We're going to do a body scan.
We often don't realize where we're holding tension until someone mentions it.
As you breathe,
Guide your awareness to your scalp,
Now your face,
Your neck,
Shoulders,
Chest and upper back,
Your arms down to your hands,
Into your abdomen,
Flowing your awareness down to your glutes and thighs,
Calves,
Finally to your feet and toes.
Today's affirmation is,
I am observing.

We are not what we can observe.
What we can observe,
We can exert control over.
What we can observe,
We can change.
I am observing.
What behaviors will you observe about yourself or others?
What thoughts or feelings can you get curious about?
What beliefs can you question?
I am observing.
Curiosity doesn't always mean change is necessary.
It can just be an opportunity to deepen your most intimate relationship,
The one you have with yourself.
