Your daily affirmation today is the simplest of actions,

And the simplest of phrases.

First,

Inhale through your nose,

If possible,

Feeling the cool air flow through your nostrils and into your lungs,

Expanding your diaphragm.

Don't be uncomfortable,

But once you have a nice full breath,

Purse your lips and blow that air out like you're using a straw.

That is your action.

One of the first actions you ever took.

A full breath.

As you continue your mindful breaths,

Open your mind and heart to recite today's phrase.

Today's phrase is,

I am,

I am,

In every mindful moment.

You are,

You are precious,

Real,

Loved,

Valid.

I am.

I am not my actions or behaviors.

I am not my thoughts.

I am not my emotions or feelings.

I am not anything I can observe.

When it all falls away,

All that's left is,

I am.

As you go about your day,

As you find your mind racing in the future or mired in the past,

Take a breath and say,

I am.

Thank you for joining me today.
