Welcome to today's little meditation.

Today we're going to do something called the prana kriya.

It's a little meditation together with the breathing and visualization to activate our prana body or to balance or to support our energetic body.

Our energetic body according to the transformational yoga system is formed by our swadhisthana chakra,

Our sekho chakra,

Together with our eyebrow center,

So the third eye chakra.

Get ready to begin.

Coming into a seated position,

Either a nice easy pose or a nice comfortable position in a chair.

Your feet on the ground.

Wherever you are just make sure your spine is nice and straight and you can feel the support underneath you nice and solid.

Don't force your eyes closed but take a deep breath in.

As you exhale side up through the mouth.

Again another deep inhale.

One more time,

This time struggling your shoulders up towards your ears as you inhale.

As you exhale release the shoulders,

Plink your eyes closed.

Closing your mouth and then exhaling through your nose.

Bring your awareness to the natural flow of the breath.

Focusing your awareness on the natural flow of the breath.

Bring your awareness to the tip of the nose where the cool dry air enters the nostrils and warm moist air leaving the body again.

Just taking a moment now to settle in to your body noticing where you're holding on to tension and softening those areas.

With every exhale feel yourself getting more and more present within your own skin.

As you become more and more present noticing that the breath might slightly change.

And just using a moment now to let go of the day behind us.

The day ahead.

Just focusing on your breath in the present moment.

Bring your awareness to your nose and to your eyebrow center.

Imagine the breath going in through the nose towards the eyebrow center on the inhale and as you exhale from the eyebrow center and after nose.

In the nose to the eyebrow center and from the eyebrow center after nose.

One more round.

Inhale from the nose to the eyebrow center and from the eyebrow center down to the nose.

Bring your awareness now to the little hollow in your throat.

That space between your collarbones.

Imagining the breath going in through the hollow of your throat up to the eyebrow center and from the eyebrow center out the little hollow.

In through the throat towards the top eyebrow center and then exhale eyebrow center and the breath leaves that little hollow.

One more round.

Inhale to the little hollow imagining the breath going in through there stopping at the eyebrow center and then from the eyebrow center down the throat.

Bring your awareness now to your heart space.

As you breathe in breathing in through the heart space take the breath up to the eyebrow center and then as you exhale out the heart again.

Inhale through the heart to the eyebrow center and as you exhale from the eyebrow center out the heart.

One more round.

Inhale heart third eye exhale third eye and heart.

From the top inhale through the nose to third eye exhale third eye and nose.

Inhale breath going in through the nose hook it on to the third eye and then exhale release it out the nose.

One more round.

Bringing your awareness now to your throat from the throat to your third eye breathing imagining the breath going from your throat to your third eye and then an exhale from your third eye out the throat.

Inhale throat third eye exhale third eye throat.

One more round here and then from the heart to the eyebrow center and then from the eyebrow center out the heart.

Inhale heart third eye exhale third eye and heart.

Last round and then again start from the nose the nose to the third eye.

Complete three rounds here.

After the third round from the throat to the third eye.

And the last round on this round from the heart to the eyebrow center.

Three rounds here follow your own breath.

Completing the last round here and then starting again from the top.

One more round at each point.

Three times at the nose three times at the throat and three times from the heart.

Once you've completed your last round from the heart just letting go of the visualization.

Allow your breath to take on a natural easy rhythm and just take a moment to observe.

Observe your breath your body and see if you can tune into your energy body or your prana body.

How is that feeling?

Can you tap into it?

Can you notice it's flow without any judgment or attachment?

Just notice.

If you're working with a mudra release your mudra now.

Keep your eyes going.

Bring your hands in prayer at your heart center.

Rubbing your palms fast fast fast generating some heat and then cup your warm palms over your closed eyes.

Don't touch your eyeballs.

Allow the heat to drain into the eye sockets.

Blink your eyes open underneath your cupped palms.

Slowly letting some light.

Open your fingers and slowly dropping your hands down.

Enjoy the rest of your day.

Thanks for taking this time out to spend with yourself and with your prana body.
