Welcome to this guided exercise focused on success,
Rooted in the work of Bert Hellinger.
Begin by finding a comfortable seated position and gently close your eyes.
Bring your attention inward.
Allow your shoulders to drop and rest your hands on your lap with the palms facing up,
Open to receiving.
Take a deep breath in through your nose and slowly exhale through your mouth,
Releasing any tension.
Feel your body begin to settle.
Take another deep breath in,
Expanding your lungs,
And as you exhale,
Let yourself relax even more deeply.
Allow the natural flow of breath to settle back in.
Now visualize your mother standing in front of you.
Notice any feelings or emotions that arise as you picture her.
Take a moment to adjust the distance between you and her.
Maybe she is close or maybe she is farther away.
Find a distance that feels comfortable and safe for you.
Watch the emotions that surface as you connect with your mother.
Now gently extend your arms in front of you,
Reaching toward her.
Notice how it feels.
Can you reach her easily or do you find it difficult?
Perhaps she feels too far away or maybe in some way you have turned your back on her in your life.
As you look at her,
Observe the people,
Opportunities,
And relationships standing behind and beside her.
These are things you may not have fully received because you haven't yet fully reached or embraced your mother.
Keep your spine straight and see if you can lean slightly forward toward her.
Does this feel natural to you or does it take effort?
Reflect on how many people,
Relationships,
Jobs,
And opportunities your mother represents in your life.
Trust whatever comes up.
There is no need to overthink it.
Notice if your arms and shoulders feel heavy or tired as you continue to reach toward your mother.
Is it hard to take her in full or does it feel effortless now?
Can you bring her close to your heart?
Take a deep breath in and exhale,
Let go.
Now say quietly or out loud,
Mom,
You have been so distant.
It's been hard to fully reach you.
Please come to me one more time.
Slowly imagine embracing your beautiful mother.
Place your hands gently on your heart as if holding her there.
Allow yourself to take her in full.
Look again and see how many people,
Opportunities,
And successes were standing behind your mother,
Waiting for you to receive them.
Feel the beauty of being held by her,
Of being one with her again,
Just as you were when you were in her womb.
Say to her,
You are the only right mother for me,
And I am the right child for you.
Stay in this feeling for a moment,
Allowing yourself to fully absorb it.
When you're ready,
Take a deep breath in,
Expanding your chest and heart,
And exhale slowly through your mouth.
Gently return to the present moment,
Becoming aware of your surroundings.
Take one more deep breath in,
And as you exhale,
Feel yourself fully grounded and at peace.
When you feel ready,
You may gently open your eyes.
Thank you for your practice.
