Hi,
This is a short deep breathing practice.
It just takes about five minutes to do this very simple and effective practice.
It can be done pretty much at any time of the day.
It just takes about five minutes.
It's especially helpful if you are feeling lethargic,
If you're not able to focus,
If you need a quick boost in your energy and it hardly needs any preparation or you don't need any experience to do this practice.
So let's start with this quick deep breathing practice.
So this is ideally done in a seated posture.
So take any comfortable seated posture of your choice.
Take a deep breath in.
Bring your awareness to the present moment.
Just take a few seconds to connect with your surroundings.
Another deep inhalation.
Just observe your body if you are holding tension in any part of the body.
Relax those parts.
It could be your neck or your shoulder or any other part of the body.
Now take one more deep inhalation.
At this point you may close your eyes so that you can focus better on your breathing.
Just observe your breath for a few seconds.
Observe the inhalation and the exhalation.
And now we will take three deep inhalations.
Breathe in inhalation one.
As you exhale,
Completely relax your body.
Inhalation two.
As you exhale this time,
Relax your mind.
Now inhalation three.
Bring your awareness to the present,
To the here and now.
And just be still for a few seconds.
If you wish,
You may take another few deep inhalations or you may end this short breathing practice.
Just take a few seconds to stretch and to allow your body to gently come out of this state of relaxation.
So I hope this session helped you to regain your energy and feel just a little better.
Thank you.
