Thank you for joining me in this meditation for sleep.

As you settle in and become more comfortable,

Listening to the rain outside the window,

Getting cozy and relaxed,

I just have an essential oil blend here,

And let you take a nice deep inhale of this calming lavender blend,

Warm and cozy,

Just gently allowing your body to relax.

As you sink deeper into your pillows,

Pulling your blanket around you,

You can let go of anything that happened throughout the day,

Letting go of anything that is to come in the future,

And just allowing yourself to rest.

The only thing that you need to think of in this moment is rest.

All that exists is this present moment.

And I invite you to take another deep inhale through your nose,

And when you're ready,

Take a long deep exhale out.

Sinking deeper and deeper into rest and into relaxation.

Mind is relaxed,

And your body is relaxed as well.

Then allow your spirit to relax,

Nothing to do,

Nowhere to be,

No one to show up as,

Just yourself,

Perfect,

Right here,

Right now,

Exactly as you are.

Letting go of the day,

As you continue to sink deeper and deeper into relaxation,

Allowing your body to rest.

And as you allow this peaceful energy to wash over you,

Sinking deeper,

I invite you to join me in this countdown to sleep,

Knowing that even if you do not fall asleep,

Your body will be in a state of deep relaxation.

And you will awaken feeling rested and rejuvenated when the time is right.

Take another deep inhale,

And a deep exhale,

10,

Allowing any thoughts that come across your mind to drift by as a cloud,

Noticing that they are there,

But not giving them any attention,

9,

Continuing to deepen your breaths and letting go further and further with each deep exhale,

8,

Blissful,

Peaceful,

And relaxed,

7,

Calmly breathing,

6,

Letting go,

7,

Allowing your body to rest,

6,

5,

And 4,

3,

2,

And 1.

Gently drifting into sleep,

I am wishing you a peaceful and rejuvenating rest as you drift off.

Wonderfully paced with nice use of quiet to let us settle at our own pace. Sorry we hadn't discovered you before we were in Vancouver three weeks ago. :)
