This guided meditation starts off busy and slowly fades into obscurity. This is the way of the mind as it finds it's way into rest. For many of us, the mind keeps our bodies awake much longer that we want or need. This meditation was designed to distract and to take over. Concentrating on the visualization of golden yellow light entering our bodies with each breath and pushing out the smoke of anxiety with every breath out. The narration slowly moves from wakeful to dreamy as waves ebb and flow.

Welcome to tonight's guided sleep meditation.

We will be focusing on waves of healing light.

Tonight,

You deserve to relax.

Tonight,

You deserve to lift the weight of the day off of your shoulders.

It's time to relax and empty your mind.

Begin by getting into a comfortable position.

Be patient with yourself as your body tries to find the right place.

It's okay to move.

Allow any anger and frustration to disappear.

Take a slow deep breath in through your nose if possible and hold it for several seconds.

Release it without constraints or control.

Allow your breath to exit your body at its own pace.

Remember to let go of any frustrations.

Our bodies are protecting us.

So give it patience and love.

Visualize any stress,

Anger,

Or impatience as thick black smoke circling around inside of your veins.

With every breath in,

Notice the smell and the feel of the fresh air entering your lungs.

Then as you let the air out,

It circulates around your body,

Pushing the black smoke out with each breath in and forcing it out with each breath out.

With each inward breath,

Imagine a beautiful mist of warm beaming light sparkling as it enters your lungs,

Creating ghosted paths of pure yellow energy through your veins as it replaces the stress of the day.

With every breath out,

Visualize that black smoke rushing from your body,

Taking all negatively charged emotions with it.

Using your eyes soft and closed,

Continue to visualize with each breath out,

That smoke becoming more and more clear and pure.

Take another breath in.

Feel the yellow light seep into your muscles.

As the smoke leaves your muscles,

They go from rigid to soft and relaxed.

All they needed all along was for you to realize the smoke was even there.

Now you have the power to clear it.

You are in control.

You are safe,

You are totally in control,

And you are able to relax every muscle in your body with this method.

Become aware of the muscle in your face.

Gently and slowly breathe the light in,

And breathe the tension out.

Feel the effect it has on your cheeks,

Your forehead,

Relaxing your scalp,

Tingling behind your ears.

Visualize this healing light circling around inside your jaw,

Like small curls of healthy light replacing the curls of dark smoke.

Feel your jaw tingle as the muscles finally relax deeper and deeper.

The light becomes more and more pure with each breath.

Continue to breathe the light in and focus on your neck,

The muscles in your shoulders,

And in your chest.

Feel the pleasure of your muscles feeling pliable again.

Allow them to feel heavy and visualize a dark fog emerging from your very arms,

Chest,

And abdomen.

With each breath in,

The light replaces more of the smoke within your softening muscles.

With each breath out,

It's like a healing wind dispersing the fog of negativity and carrying it away.

Feel the tingling begin from the very top of your head,

Traveling down your neck and back to your hips,

Inner and outer thighs,

Hovering around your knees,

Absorbing and softening into your calf muscles,

And finally reaching your ankles and feet.

Imagine the light gathering at your feet.

Visualize the light in each tone,

Warming and soothing it.

Notice your big toe and your second toe,

The pawl of your third toe and your fourth,

And finally your baby toe.

Feel the light pushing away any painful smoke found concentrated there,

And feel it pushing away any painful smoke concentrated anywhere in the lower body.

Feel the tingle at the base of your spine and all the way up to the top of your spine.

This time allow it to move more strongly and freely down your body,

Like a wave on shore,

Pushing all of the dark energy out of your body on its way.

The light's pausing at the joints and swirling around before dancing onto your heels and the arches of your feet.

Visualize very clearly your next cleansing breath in.

The golden light now flows freely through your body,

Unhindered by any darkness.

Release it and feel the cleansing power of a truly relaxed,

Heavy body.

All of the muscles,

Tendons,

And fascia relax more and more with each slow and purposeful breath.

These golden waves of energy have entered your body and pushed all of the day's soot away.

You are clean,

Relaxed,

Warm,

Safe,

In total control.

Now,

Each slow controlled breath that you take will act as a new wave of relaxation.

Your pure body can accept it.

You are ready.

Breathe in the wave of relaxation.

Breathe out,

Sinking heavy into the ice.

Breathe in the wave.

Breathe out and feel it melt within you.

Breathe in the wave.

Feel it melt into the ice.

Breathe in the wave.

Breathe out.

Breathe in.
