Details

Hosted by yoga teacher Laura Bunting and guest co-teacher Clara Johnson, the Wild Flow Retreat invites you to a week of spaciousness, movement, and connection. Set within the heart of Laikipia’s wilderness, this journey blends creative yoga, safari adventure, and deep rest to reconnect you with your body's wisdom. Through morning Vinyasa, intuitive workshops, and slow evenings under African skies, you’ll learn to move with life, not against it.

Location

Laikipia County, Kenya

Laikipia County, located in central Kenya, is a region of breathtaking natural beauty and ecological diversity. Stretching across vast plateaus and rolling hills between Mount Kenya and the Great Rift Valley, it’s home to wildlife conservancies, private ranches, and community lands that host elephants, lions, rhinos, and other iconic African species. The area offers a tranquil, off-the-beaten-path experience for visitors seeking safaris, nature walks, and cultural encounters with local communities such as the Maasai and Samburu. With its expansive landscapes and clear night skies, Laikipia provides an ideal setting for reflection, adventure, and connection to nature.

Enasoit is a luxury tented camp in the wildlife-rich Laikipia highlands of Kenya. The camp is an enchanting, exclusive property, catering for only one group of guests at a time, and offering a uniquely private safari experience. Enasoit guests have the camp and surrounding wildlife reserve all to themselves – an ideal retreat for families and groups of friends. As a small and intimate camp, Enasoit has a unique charm. It is relaxed and welcoming, yet luxurious and beautifully appointed. An Enasoit safari offers remarkable wildlife encounters and an array of exciting ways to experience the wilderness. One of the most distinctive features of Enasoit Camp is the extraordinary wildlife activity at the waterhole, located just in front of the main Mess Tent – the perfect viewpoint for wildlife-viewing from the comfort of an armchair.

Accommodation: House of Waine - Nairobi Your retreat begins in the leafy suburb of Karen. After you arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you’ll be welcomed and transferred to the House of Waine. A boutique hotel known for its serenity, warmth, and locally inspired cuisine. You’ll stay here for one night before heading to Kenya’s plains. Enasoit Camp - Laikipia Plateau Set on 4,500 private acres, Enasoit is one of Kenya’s most exclusive private conservancies. This is where the retreat unfolds - in a camp that feels more like a private home than a hotel. Each tented cottage is beautifully appointed, with views across open plains where giraffe, buffalo, and zebra roam freely. There’s an open-air lounge, a pool, and spaces to gather - or to disappear into silence.

On retreat we are focused on food that is all about nourishment. Fresh, seasonal, and full of flavour, our meals are designed to leave you feeling grounded, energised, and deeply cared for. Think home-grown herbs, garden vegetables, and recipes that celebrate the joy of eating well. At Wildlife & Yoga, we believe food is part of the experience - wholesome, soulful, and shared around the table.  As we cater for all dietaries, please let us know in advance and we can plan accordingly.

Schedule

The retreat begins with a warm welcome at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and a private transfer to the elegant House of Waine in Nairobi’s peaceful Karen suburb, where guests can settle in and unwind. After breakfast with Laura and Clara the next morning, participants take a private charter flight to Enasoit Conservancy to begin the retreat with lunch, meditation, and an evening sundowner. The following days unfold with morning Vinyasa yoga, followed by guided safaris, horseback rides, bush walks, or massages. Evenings bring Yin yoga, meditation, and intimate dinners, sometimes enjoyed beneath the vast African sky. The journey concludes with an optional sunrise game drive, a final yoga practice, and breakfast before returning to Nairobi by private charter.
