Schedule

This retreat begins with a pre-arrival one-on-one session to help the facilitator understand each participant’s healing needs. Day 1 focuses on arrival, grounding, and intention-setting with an opening ceremony, an intimacy meditation in the hot springs, a farm-to-table dinner, and restorative yoga before ending the evening with time to enjoy the springs and sauna. Day 2 deepens connection through morning vinyasa yoga, a nature immersion, and an afternoon cacao ceremony paired with ecstatic dance. In the evening, ecological integration groups support healing attachment patterns and building healthier relationships, followed by a soothing sound bath and yoga session. On Day 3, participants move into integration with reflective yoga, breakfast, and a labyrinth meditation, culminating in a closing ceremony and movement practice. By the end of the retreat, guests leave Joyful Journey Hot Springs with a renewed sense of peace, connection, and personal transformation.

Testimonials

info

This retreat exceeded all of my expectations in every way, and while Mickey didn’t create the Sangre di Cristo mountains or the healing waters of the hot springs, she did orchestrate a magical connection to them for all of us. It was like Mother Nature was part of her team. Reconnecting with ourselves and nature was interwoven with new connections among our group. Sometimes in life, everything just comes together and there’s magic in an experience shared. This was one of those times and I’m so grateful for the gift. Biggest recommendations, and we are already planning to join Mickey in future experiences.

This retreat was more than I could've imagined coming in. I came with a very heavy heart and through the connection to the nature we were in, the powerful group of individuals who showered me with support, and Mickey's empathetic and powerful guidance I was able to leave feeling softer and lighter. I feel like I reconnected with myself in ways I didn't even know I needed. I am changed for this experience and I am so grateful. Thank you Mickey!

I truly didn’t know what to expect coming into the retreat. It was so much better than I imagined/hoped for! Everything was so thought out and the intention behind each activity was clear to see. It was a perfect location that was so peaceful and beautiful itself. It was an instant feeling of calmness when you arrived. From the very first moment I felt welcomed and at ease. It was such a wonderful group of women and we seemed to all truly connect to one another and hold space for each other. I thought the itinerary was a perfect balance of yoga, meditation, connection practices and free time. Some of the activities like ecstatic dance were out of my usual comfort zone, but ended up being some of my favorite and most freeing moments. I felt like I was completely present, in the moment and weightless. I also really benefited from the connection activities/practices. I felt like we all felt so seen, heard and held. It was absolutely beautiful. Every part of the retreat helped me to connect to myself, others and nature which is so healing in itself. It allowed me to release some heavy emotions and have some heart opening moments. I left feeling lighter and more at peace. The final night of the retreat, laying in bed I realized that not a single part of my body hurt. I can’t remember the last time it felt that way. Between the retreat, the healing waters of the hot springs and the connections made I felt at peace. I was truly sad for the retreat to end and look forward to hopefully attending another one.
