Yes! Mt Shasta is only accessible by a vehicle. The venue, shops and all meeting points require a vehicle. You can carshare of course, if coming with a friend. Car parking in all areas are free (providing you are with this retreat group).

All experiences are held in two locations. One in the town centre and the second at a nearby natural site, approximately 15-20 minutes drive from town.

If you are travelling from abroad, San Francisco or Sacramento are the main international hubs. Alternatively nearby Redding or Medford are local airports within 1-1.5 hour driving distance from Shasta

There are many B&B's, Guesthouses, AirBnB's, Hotels within Mt Shasta. Please explore AirBnB, Booking(dot)com or any travel site by searching on Google.

Details are given to booked participants of where to shop. There are several large supermarkets in Mt Shasta as well as a healthy grocery store offering many vegan options.

A full list will be given to booked participants prior to the retreat. This will include clothing for weather conditions, footwear etc.

The mountain in May is covered in snow. It is one of the reasons this time is chosen as the energies are incredibly pure. Snow covers the area above Bunny Flat (Panther Meadows and the top level to walk is covered in snow). However, there will be an opportunity to walk on the snow and experience the beautiful energy field of Shasta in the Tour. Snow shoes and optional poles will need to be individually rented from the local store, at an additional cost ($20-30). We are unable to orgnanise this ourselves as it is show size dependent. We will organise and direct this part with you of course, with assitance from our volunteers :)

As a note, we do not organise tours or trips to the very top of the mountain. This requires extreme skill and guidance and there are several organisations in town which do this, which you can organise separately.

Mt Shasta has its own environmental realm! Days can be very warm and sunny, reaching up to 30 C / 86 F. With nights can be a lot cooler, around 4 C / 40 F. However there may be rain during this time as well. We always advise for all weather conditions and we are prepared for all weather eventualities. This is why our itinerary may change, weather dependent.
