Details
The Holistic and Functional Psychology Institute is proud to announce this 7-day and 6-night retreat at an eco-luxury regenerative off-grid location in Costa Rica. Immerse yourself in the Costa Rican jungle while connecting with other therapists and healers in this hybrid professional experience + vacation. Nestled in Costa Rica’s Arenal region, Rancho Margot is a regenerative eco-retreat center with breathtaking views, spring-fed pools, and abundant wildlife. As a holistic wellness retreat, we will be doing various activities and excursions to support your holistic wellness: swimming, hiking, kayaking, cooking, doing yoga, meditation, breathwork, touring a regenerative farm, and yoga nidra. You will also learn about holistic wellness topics that can apply to your professional practice: breathwork, yoga nidra, mindful walking, mindful eating, nutrition, holistic therapy, environmental sustainability, and more. You'll receive a certificate in Holistic Lifestyle Therapy for Mental Health from the Holistic & Functional Psychology Institute. The meals will be sourced largely from a regenerative farm, and you will be able to swim in natural spring-fed pools. This retreat is customizable. You can relax, adventure with us, or do a mixture of both. The video will give you a little taste of what might be in store. This retreat is geared toward mental health professionals (therapists, counselors, LMFTs, social workers, psychologists, PMHNPs, and psychiatrists) and is also open to others in healthcare and holistic professions: physical therapists, holistic healers, massage therapists, nutritionists, coaches, and more. Come solo or bring a friend or partner. Contact us with questions.

★ Reviews

Nestled just forty minutes from La Fortuna in a mountain valley near the gateway to Arenal Volcano National Park and the shores of Lake Arenal, Rancho Margot is the perfect escape from the routine and ritual of everyday life. Here, you’ll find personalized experiences to help you get in sync with nature’s pleasing harmony. Beyond an eco-resort, Rancho Margot is a burgeoning regenerative community. Our operations are designed to promote biodiversity and sequester carbon emissions. We constantly strive to find better ways to satisfy our needs without compromising the precious resources that will be needed for future generations. And with an unwavering commitment to education, it brings us true joy to introduce guests to the wonders of our world. Here on the ranch, “Pura Vida” (the pure life) takes on far greater meaning.
