Know the Nature of your Mind Is it your time? Time to turn inward and look in the only place the answers truly can be found. Inside yourself. This three-day silent retreat by the river offers structured, loosely guided meditation practice rooted in ancient traditions, informed by modern neuroscience, and designed to develop steady attention, clarity, and deeper awareness. Held in the Texas Hill Country on riverfront property, it’s an opportunity to engage directly with your inner experience—without distractions. This retreat is shaped as much by the land as by the practice itself. The river, the animals, the quiet and the open space invite you to soften, open and become receptive to Life— on retreat awareness can settle without force. What unfolds here is not something we create, but something we experience. This retreat is shaped by both the structure of the schedule and the practice of meditation itself. Set along the Blanco River —Zoetic River provides both training & deep rest, supporting a more grounded, embodied experience that is both simple and potent.

This one-day retreat follows a structured schedule of guided and silent mindfulness meditation, held in Noble Silence from arrival through completion. The day includes periods of guided seated meditation, walking meditation, and time in nature by the river, allowing for continuous practice and deeper continuity of awareness. The structure simple and consistent, designed to support direct observation of thoughts, emotions, and physical sensations as they arise. Gentle guidance is offered throughout, while extended silence allows participants to engage fully with their inner experience without distraction. Time outdoors, including along the river, becomes part of the practice—supporting a more grounded and embodied awareness. This is science-based mindfulness training, where the emphasis is on doing the work through repetition, attention, and direct experience.
