Approximately 55 years ago, the area now known as Black Sheep Farm transitioned from a banana plantation to dairy land, and by the early 1980s, it was predominantly grassland without trees or bushes. The guesthouse, initially built without power using hand tools, has evolved organically over the years. Mac, the previous owner, lived in and gradually upgraded the guesthouse over 12 years, giving it a comfortable, modern, and airy aesthetic. Over 39 years, Mac transformed the property into a lush paradise by extensively planting native and other species, including a Eucalyptus corridor to attract koalas and various fruit trees. The property, which also includes a secluded pottery studio established in 1983, enjoys complete privacy due to its remote location. Recently, a new Temple built in the traditional German "Fachwerk" style without nails has been completed, where various workshops like the Living Purpose Retreat are now hosted.

Testimonials

info

I just wanted to say some words of gratitude, post integration of our RAGA journey. How beautiful to see you all in one spot last week at the Raga retreat. I feel like I am still bathing in all of your frequencies. Expanded & open to the flow of life and a whole lot of love. For me, it was the perfect spot and perfect timing to be reminded of how much light there actually is in this life, and how powerfully our vibration creates our reality. Effortlessly manifesting love & joy.. just by surrendering and expanding to true self, to truth. Thankyou to Shivam Rath & Mico Sundari for allowing us to bathe in your divine light - and initiating us into the use of the sacred sounds ourselves. It was beautiful to see how the use of our voice allowed each and everyone of us to open up to our unique vibration.. expand.. together creating a rhythmic resonance of truth & authenticity. All your tones will forever remain with me, thank you for resonating and co-creating our rainbow! With all of my gratitude for you all (the facilitators & everyone who held the space for everyone) Keep shining your unique colour & tone.. let our rainbow songs carry us through this adventure of life 🥰

The Raga Retreat is a one of a kind experience that takes participants into a deeply focused space to learn and reconnect with oneself through the incredible power of sound and raga. The way Shivam is able to articulate ancient indian concepts with such ease and almost playfully makes the sessions both deeply profound and fun !
