Details
This mindful long weekend offers a spacious opportunity to pause, rest, and care for the mind, body, and heart. Designed for those who have some experience with silent practice, the retreat supports a deepening of mindfulness through stillness, movement, and kind attention. The focus is on strengthening mind–body connection, settling the nervous system, quieting the mind, and opening the heart. You’ll be guided through periods of silent sitting, lying, and walking meditation, alongside mindful movement, daily talks, and clear meditation instructions. Practices of kindness and compassion are woven throughout. Adele and Jenny teach within a trauma-sensitive mindfulness framework, recognising that silence can be supportive for some and challenging for others. Participants are encouraged to honour their own pace and needs, with support available to explore suitability for the retreat.

★ Reviews

Affectionately known as ‘Wilton’, the Illawarra Brahma Kumaris Retreat Centre, when purchased in 1999, was in great need of refurbishment. With immense love, determination, and the vision of many over the years, the Centre now shines like a jewel in the crown of The Brahma Kumaris in Australia.
