Details

Cultivating Kindness Workshops invite women-identified folks to return home to themselves by slowing down, softening, and reconnecting with the quiet wisdom of the heart. We offer practices that nurture ease, presence, and loving awareness through the gentle integration of mindfulness and self-compassion, reflective writing, and expressive movement within a safe and supportive community. Coming Home, our spring workshop, offers space for renewal, gentle unfolding, and the rediscovery of the places of refuge that have always been alive within us.

Location

Beverly Hills, CA, United States

Beverly Hills (ZIP code 90210) is an iconic and affluent city in Los Angeles County, globally recognized for its luxury lifestyle, palm-lined streets, and strong ties to the entertainment industry. Home to opulent estates, high-end boutiques along Rodeo Drive, and world-class dining, it has long been associated with celebrities, wealth, and glamour. Despite its relatively small size, Beverly Hills carries an outsized cultural influence, often depicted in film and television as a symbol of prestige and exclusivity, while also offering beautifully maintained parks, upscale hotels, and a polished, picturesque urban environment.

A Tranquil Escape in the Heart of LA Journey just a short distance into Benedict Canyon, and you’ll step into another world at the Benedict Canyon Retreat House is an oasis of calm amidst the urban sprawl. This serene 18 acre retreat, only a city block’s drive from the city’s chaos, allows you to leave Los Angeles behind, enveloping you in tranquility. Set within the embrace of the canyon’s lush greenery and vibrant wildlife, the retreat house occupies land that has been lovingly preserved since its stewardship by the Dutton family. In 2012, this preservation effort was continued by InsightLA, ensuring its natural beauty remains untouched. Here, you can immerse yourself in meditation within the charming retreat house or explore several acres of walking trails that wind deeper into the canyon. This setting not only provides a perfect backdrop for meditative practices but also invites you to reconnect with nature, offering a peaceful retreat from the daily grind.

info

The teachers worked truly as a team—the flow & embodiment of mindful self-compassion & loving kindness was so impactful. Individually & together, the teachers were wonderful!

K.B., U.S.A.

The practices were very heart opening. I was worried about the meditation practices but knew it would be good for me. It’s scary to be vulnerable but it brings the connection I want.

S.M., U.S.A.

This was a mind opening experience. I felt so close to everyone, including the teachers, by the end of the retreat. An extra special experience of meditation, movement and writing.
