Fear.
Fear is infectious and can be more damaging to your personal well-being than any disease could dream of being.
Fear can infect your mind and thoughts and spread to others through the collective consciousness like a virus.
But you have a choice,
Just as we all do.
The choice of where you will place your attention.
The choice of where you will shine the light of your consciousness.
Will you shine your light on the thoughts of fear?
Or will you shine your light on thoughts of love,
Compassion,
And wisdom?
You have the power and capability to become a lighthouse,
A lighthouse in the storm of fear and chaos that at times can infect and possess the collective consciousness of society and the people around you.
And that's the purpose of this meditation,
To allow you to tap into the peace and the presence that is at the core of who you truly are.
So let's begin by closing your eyes and taking a slow,
Deep breath in,
Filling your lungs.
And exhale,
Beginning to relax into this moment.
And again,
Another slow,
Deep breath in.
And exhale,
Imagining this present moment wrapping around you like a warm blanket.
And one last time,
Slow,
Deep breath in.
And exhale,
Releasing,
Relaxing,
Just letting go.
Allowing your breath now to find its natural rhythm.
And imagine for a moment,
A warm golden light.
A warm,
Healing,
Golden light shining down over your entire body.
Feel the warmth of this light as it envelops you.
This warm,
Peaceful,
Healing light.
Notice now,
What part of your body that this light is concentrating on the most.
Here on or within your body,
Do you feel this light is needed the most?
And in this area where it is needed the most,
I want you to imagine,
To feel this warm light being absorbed into this area,
Into this area of your body.
Feel it absorbing and spreading out wherever it is needed.
Feel it spreading out within yourself,
Physically,
Mentally,
Emotionally.
Allow this warm,
Healing light to move and spread wherever it is needed.
Relaxing your mind,
Calming your body.
Allowing any thoughts to simply drift away.
Observing any thought with no attachment.
And just letting it drift past.
Trying to feel the deep presence of your consciousness.
You are not your thoughts.
You are the consciousness that observes the thoughts.
You are the light that shines upon them.
Thoughts are simply tools of creation.
And you get to choose the thoughts that you wish to work with.
Choose wisely,
For the thoughts within your mind are reflected in the world around you.
And now,
I would like you to think back,
Back in time to a wonderful,
Joyful,
Loving time in your past.
Let the scene unfold within your mind.
See it and feel it as best as you can.
Imagine where you were,
What you were doing,
Who else was there with you.
Feel the emotions you felt at that time.
Allow these beautiful,
Wonderful emotions to intensify,
Even exaggerating them if you can.
These powerful,
Positive emotions growing more and more.
Feel this in your body.
Notice,
Where do you feel them?
Is it in your heart?
Your stomach?
Your throat?
Wherever it is,
Concentrate upon it.
Let these wonderful feelings grow even stronger.
Now,
I would like you to hold on to these feelings.
Not the memory,
Not the scene that played out within your mind,
Just the feelings.
Hold on to these feelings and bring them back with you.
Bring them back with you into your awakened state as we end this meditation.
Still holding on to these positive emotions,
Take a deep breath in and exhale,
Feeling better and better.
Another deep breath in,
Feeling the energy rising within your body.
And exhale,
Feeling the urge to move and stretch.
And one last deep breath in and exhale,
Slowly opening your eyes,
Feeling wonderful in every way.
This is the power you hold.
You have control over the quality of the thoughts in your mind.
You get to choose between fear and love.
You can become the lighthouse in the storm of fear.
