Today's meditation is for the purpose of opening your third eye.
Once opened,
The third eye can bring insights and understanding that will amplify your highest growth and potential.
We will begin by finding a comfortable place,
A place where you will be undisturbed,
Placing your hands on your lap or thighs.
Just allow yourself to settle into this comfortable position.
Now I would like you to close your eyes,
Taking a deep breath in and slowly exhaling out.
Take a deep breath in and out.
In and out.
And slowly one last time,
Breathing in and out.
Allowing yourself now to relax even further down.
Letting your breath find its natural rhythm.
Just relaxing.
I would like you now to bring your awareness to your heart.
Take a moment now and feel your heart center.
Perhaps you can feel your heart beating or maybe just an awareness of it.
Just allow yourself to become aware of your heart center.
And now that you are aware of the heart center,
I would like you to infuse the heart with the color green,
A bright emerald green,
And how you place this color can be unique to you.
You can place it there with your hands or perhaps imagine pouring this emerald green into your heart.
However you imagine doing so will be right for you,
There is no right or wrong.
Allowing yourself to imagine that heart center to be filled with this beautiful green energy.
Take a moment now just to notice how it feels.
And I would like you now to just imagine breathing in and out through your heart.
Imagine instead of your lungs that the breath is moving in and out of your heart.
Just in and out.
And now with each breath this emerald green color begins to move.
It begins to turn and spin,
Perhaps slowly at first.
With each breath becoming faster and faster.
Having a spinning vortex of energy infusing love,
Warmth,
Compassion,
Self love and kindness.
Allow yourself to feel this energy now.
Now imagine a chord of energy rising from your heart center.
Center all the way up into your forehead.
Between the eyebrows,
The location of the third eye.
Follow your awareness up this chord of energy from the heart all the way up to the third eye.
The center of your intuition and foresight.
Showing you to see both inner and outer worlds.
As well as gaining access to your inner guidance.
Take a moment now just to let your awareness settle into this space of the third eye.
And to feel its energy rising.
And in this space of the third eye you may begin to feel a tingling or pressure.
However it feels,
It will be right for you,
Again there is no right or wrong.
And in this area of the third eye where you feel its presence.
I would like you to imagine the color indigo.
A beautiful dark purplish blue.
And this color begins to take on a luminescence,
A soft radiance of light.
And now with your eyes still closed,
Looking up behind your eyelids move your eyes up as if you are looking into your third eye.
As you bring your attention to the third eye its color begins to move,
Swirl and spin.
As this indigo light spins and turns.
It brings energy in and out of itself.
The faster it spins the more energy you can feel.
Take a moment now just to allow this energy to integrate.
Becoming aware of any visions or insights that come to you.
And beyond any illusions or distractions you may previously have had.
And now with your eyes still closed,
Looking up behind your eyelids move your eyes up as if you are looking into your third eye.
Now taking a deep breath in and exhale.
And again in and out.
Breathing in and as you exhale out bringing your attention and awareness to the bottoms of your feet.
Allowing this awareness to pool at the bottoms of your feet.
And like roots from a tree let this energy reach into the earth,
Grounding you.
These roots run deep and you feel safe and secure.
Taking another deep breath in and out.
Feeling so peaceful,
So calm,
So relaxed.
Having reached the third eye you have begun the process of opening up to your intuitive and inner perceptions.
Now slowly and gently opening your eyes fully aware back in this physical world.
And now with your eyes still closed,
Looking up behind your eyelids move your eyes up as if you are looking into your third eye.
And again in and out.
Breathing in and out.
