Thank you for being here today,
And I welcome you to this guided meditation for releasing anxiety and fear.
Allow yourself to get into a comfortable position and begin to feel yourself settle into the here and now.
Like a warm wave,
Letting my words flow over you.
Becoming more aware of your body,
Becoming more and more relaxed.
Your body knows exactly what it needs.
Just allow it to relax naturally on its own.
Letting your mind step aside,
Allowing the relaxation to unfold.
Now bring your attention to your breath.
Imagine breathing in through your heart.
Imagine breathing in healing energy.
Healing energy that is available for each and every one of us.
And exhaling anything that no longer serves you.
In and out.
In and out.
Your breath becoming slow and deep.
With each exhale you feel your body going deeper and deeper relaxed.
Just allow this experience to unfold naturally.
There is no right or wrong.
Whatever you feel will be right for you.
Imagine to breathe in this healing energy and exhaling any tightness you may feel.
Your mind and body are connected in powerful ways.
Your mind and body have an internal dialogue.
This internal dialogue that can allow and bring forth amazing healing.
Emotionally as well as physically.
Through your relaxation you can become aware of where the body ends and the mind begins.
You can become aware of aspects of yourself that you have never experienced.
Take a moment now to experience this separation of mind and body.
As you do this you may become aware of the energy flowing through the body.
You may feel a tingling sensation in your hands.
The body may begin to feel heavy sinking down.
Or perhaps lighter like it's beginning to float.
Again there is no right or wrong.
However it unfolds is right for you.
Take this moment now.
And it feels so good just to let yourself relax in this way.
Just allowing those feelings and sensations to become deeper and deeper.
And I would like you now to imagine that you are walking along the side of a small stream.
On a comfortable summer's day,
The perfect day in your mind,
Just walking along that small stream.
The temperature and weather exactly as you like.
The sound of the stream calming and soothing you.
You can feel the cool grass and earth under your feet.
And you begin to feel a connection to everything around you.
And you take a seat at the edge of the stream in a comfortable spot.
And you notice there are leaves that are slowly floating in the water.
You watch the leaves as they slowly spin and turn as they ride the current of the stream.
Watching them float past.
Watching them float down the stream as it takes them around a small bend and then out of sight.
And there are more of these leaves.
And I wonder if you could place any of your worries or fears onto these leaves.
Just imagine placing or projecting your fears and worries onto the tops of those leaves.
Giving up a worry to each leaf.
Giving up a concern to each leaf.
And you can watch these leaves as they float away.
Turning,
Spinning as they are carried around the bend of the stream.
Releasing you from each individual worry,
Fear or concern.
And as this clearing takes place you can feel your awareness expanding in new empowering ways.
And through this expansion you are relaxing further and further down.
In this place of peace and calm that is within you,
You feel safe and protected.
The present moment becoming all there is.
Becoming more and more aware of the sensations of your body.
As well as becoming more aware of the resources that are available to you that are within yourself.
The ability to calm yourself in any given situation.
And the ability to relax yourself fully whenever you choose.
This ability to calm and ease yourself will only become stronger from this day forward.
Living your life with ease and well being.
Feeling so calm.
Feeling in control.
Feeling free.
And as this peace and calm comes into your life you begin to notice that your thoughts change as well.
Your thoughts becoming positive,
More productive,
More empowering.
And as you change your thoughts you change your life.
And take this time now to settle into this new way of being.
