So welcome.

Welcome to this meditation where we connect with the element space or ether.

Before we start I invite you to find a comfortable seat.

Make sure that your spine is upright and make sure that you are comfortable.

Try to become still.

Rest your hands wherever it feels natural for you.

So maybe that's on your thighs or your knees.

Perhaps you'd like to bring the palms facing down to find some grounding first.

Take a deep breath in through your nose completely filling up.

Open your mouth and sigh it out.

You may close your eyes and take a moment to settle.

Hear the sounds around you.

You may hear a car passing by.

Perhaps people talking.

If you are in a fortunate situation to be in nature you may even hear birds or any other sounds of your natural environment.

And as you hear the sounds around you start to tune into more subtle sounds.

Sounds far away.

Subtle sounds very close to you.

Perhaps the sound of your own breath.

As you become aware of the sounds slowly shift your focus inwards more.

Become aware of the state of your mind.

Those thoughts,

Feelings and emotions.

Witness all that without judging just with an openness welcoming whatever comes up.

No need to label those thoughts or feelings as pleasant or unpleasant good or bad.

Just witnessing as if you are watching clouds in the sky.

Notice the shapes of the clouds.

And then start to search for that space in between thoughts.

The space in between clouds that clear blue open white sky that is always there behind the clouds.

Know that just like the sky the mind may seem blurry and there may seem some overcast but there always is this open white and clear sky.

As thoughts just like clouds always pass by.

Now let go of any witnessing or thoughts any searching for the space in between and simply rest your awareness in the present moment.

And to arrive in the present moment we tune into the breath and its natural flow in and out.

As you breathe in feel the expansion in the belly and the chest.

And then notice a pause before the breath flows out again.

At the bottom of the exhalation again there is this gentle pause.

And then the breath flows in fills you up completely arriving at the top of the inhalation again a gentle pause.

And then the breath flows out emptying emptying arriving at the bottom witness the pause between the breaths and then inhaling again.

Connect with the space between the inhalation and the exhalation as you witness the breath flowing in and out.

And as you focus on the space between the breaths this pause becomes bigger.

And as you focus on the space between the breaths this pause becomes bigger.

Now let go of any focus and just rest your awareness in the emptiness.

In the emptiness of space.

Know that this emptiness provides us with endless possibilities.

It's this space that gives us the potential to create to make our own choices.

To speak up to speak up with an honest and open mind.

To share with confession from the heart.

And so when you share from your heart there is no judgment.

Only pure and honest words.

As these honest words fill the space.

The vibrations of sound fill up the space.

Now let's bring some vibrations of sound into this space together by chanting Aum.

Bring your hands together in front of your heart.

Take a deep breath in to prepare.

And a long breath out.

And breathe in for Aum.

Feel the vibrations in the space around you in the space within you.

You may sit with this for another minute or as long as you like.

And if you are ready to come back to the external worlds and start to again tune into the sounds around you.

Open your eyes and come back to everyday life.

Remember to stay with that openness and connect with the qualities of space.

Offering endless possibilities for you to create,

To make your own choices and to speak with an honesty from the heart.
