Welcome to this New Moon Meditation.
Find a comfortable seat.
Make sure you can really feel the support of the earth underneath you.
So maybe you're sitting right on the floor,
Maybe on the chair with the feet,
Pressing into the earth.
And when you're ready,
Start by taking a deep breath in through the nose,
Filling up the belly.
Open your mouth and sigh it out.
Allow the eyelids to close.
Take a moment to arrive in the present moment right here,
Right now.
Right now.
Become aware of the physical body.
Notice how you feel in the physical body.
Perhaps you observe sensations,
Tingling sensations,
Some stiffness maybe,
Some.
.
.
Some stiffness maybe,
Some.
.
.
Observe the mental state.
Notice how you feel.
Emotions,
Feelings,
Whatever arises in your conscious,
Observe it and simply allow it to be there.
From that awareness,
Bring your focus to your breath.
And focus on the rising and falling sensation of the in and out breath,
The rising of the belly on the inhale,
The release on the exhale.
Inhale.
Inhaling deeply.
Take a long breath out.
With your next inhale,
Really feel that expansion.
With your exhale,
Release any tension in the body.
Feel the body soften more and more with each exhalation.
With every out breath,
Mentally let go of the things you cannot control.
Free yourself of all those things that no longer serve you.
Old patterns and habits,
Disturbing thoughts,
Frustrations.
With every exhale,
Release.
And feel how that release creates an openness.
How it frees up space for something new.
A new beginning of fresh thoughts.
Now ask yourself,
What are your deepest desires and dreams?
What do you want to manifest in your life,
In this world?
What do you want to manifest in this world?
What do you want to manifest in your life,
In this world?
Create an intention that helps you to grow,
Whether that's on an emotional,
Spiritual or mental level.
Perhaps it's to open your heart,
To let go of fear or anxiety.
Find what you need the most and make this agreement with yourself,
That you are going to work on that specific goal.
Be very clear about your intention.
Envision that intention and mentally repeat your intention to yourself.
Take a moment to visualize that dream.
Now marinate in that thought of living your deepest desire.
Allow yourself to tune in with the energies of the new moon.
Energies that are ready to be transformed.
With your inhale,
Invite that transformative energy of the new moon into your body and into your mind.
Let that energy grow.
Allow it to flow through with every inhale.
Let it expand into every cell of your body.
Allow it to spread out through the body.
Perhaps you even notice a tingling sensation,
That radiation of the new moon energy.
Now very slowly bring your awareness back to the physical body.
Focus on the base of the spine and feel the support of the earth underneath you.
Become aware of the sounds around you.
Visualize the space you're in.
Can you place yourself in that space?
Then place your hands on your heart.
Take a moment to seal your new moon intention.
And when you're ready to come back,
Open your eyes.
Take your time to journal and write down your new moon intention.
And believe me,
It really helps you on your way to manifest your dreams and live your deepest desire.
