Allow yourself to drift away as you find yourself on a remote beach at sunset enjoying one of the most beautiful shows that nature has to offer. The moment allows you to appreciate, to be at one with nature, to allow, to relax, to express some gratitude. To be completely present. Relax and enjoy.

Welcome everybody.

My name is Rebecca and I'm here to guide you through this visualization.

And I'd like to start by inviting you back into your body.

And we're going to do that by starting to pay some attention to the breath.

Taking a nice breath in as the belly expands and fills with air and the lungs fill with air.

A brief pause at the top if that's comfortable for you.

And then releasing the breath,

Feeling the tummy deflate.

Feeling any tension ease out of the body as you let that breath go.

Taking another nice breath in,

Filling up the belly,

Filling up the lungs,

A brief hold at the top.

Releasing the breath,

Not releasing anything that no longer serves you at the same time.

Taking another nice deep breath in,

Filling up the belly and the lungs,

A brief pause at the top.

And then releasing the breath,

Letting it go.

Just landing back in the body and feeling very grounded and present in the moment.

If you haven't already done so,

Please gently close down the eyes and bring your attention inwards.

I'd like you to notice that you're walking along the beach.

The sand feels very warm beneath your feet and the beach you're walking on is quite remote.

And you seem to be the only person on the beach right now.

You notice that the light of the day is starting to fade.

And the intense heat of the day has changed to a comfortable warmth as you walk.

And as you look out to one side you notice the expanse of the ocean.

The waves breaking along the shore.

The comforting sound as they gently crash near your feet.

And you notice for a moment the way that the light plays on the ocean,

Shimmering and dancing.

Continuing to change the colours as you stand and watch.

And as you look out towards the other side you notice that the beach is surrounded by enormous rocks in various shades of brown and red.

You decide to walk up towards the rocks.

And there's an incline as you do so.

And as you start to climb up the rocks you once again notice the warmth beneath your feet.

And the sandy remnants on the rocks as you climb.

And you climb higher and higher until the sounds of the ocean are more distant.

And you find a large,

Wide,

Flat rock and settle yourself there.

Looking out towards the ocean and the sky.

An invitation has been extended to watch one of the most beautiful shows on earth.

A sunset.

Another day ending.

A moment to feel very present and grateful.

You've come here to let go and give heartfelt thanks for the beauty that is this very moment.

The sun is so bright as it starts to set that you feel almost illuminated.

And you turn your face up towards the sun.

And allow the light and the warmth to surround you,

To comfort you.

The earth beneath the rocks is a vibrant red like nothing you've ever seen before.

So deep and rich in colour.

The contrast of the ocean against the rocks and the earth is mesmerising to take in.

But take it in you do with a deep,

Soul satisfying breath.

The warmth of the rock beneath you is a comfort.

A reminder of the heat of the day that was.

A knowing that in time it will start to cool beneath you.

The choice to embrace or to resist the coming cooling.

A slightly cooler breeze from the ocean brings some relief as it brushes lightly across your cheek,

Your body and through your hair.

How nice to be present enough to notice the breeze.

Remnants of gritty salt and sand cover the rock from the spray of the ocean.

Coarse under your fingers as you gently touch the surface of the rock.

Allowing your hand and your fingertips to gently explore the crevices.

Noticing how solid and safe it feels beneath you.

And you wonder how many years of waves and sun has it survived.

Yet still it sits in place and waits for whatever is next to come.

How long must these rocks have been here?

How much have they endured in their time?

Waves crashing,

Sun scorching,

Rain bashing.

Some have naturally crumbled into the ocean and yet many others stand solid and strong.

United against all odds.

Old formations and new,

Side by side,

Enduring and allowing.

The most beautiful place to sit and be.

To set an intention.

To offer thanks.

You watch the sun as it slowly drops towards the ocean.

Colours changing,

Heat going.

Yellow and orange,

Pink and red.

The reflection of the sun on the water extending out towards you.

The changing colours of the sky.

The blue and the pink gently painted across it.

As the orange starts to take over and fill the sky.

The sun making room for the moon to soon rise.

The tides and waters waiting for the change to happen.

And it happens every day.

The gentle yielding,

The allowing,

The natural rhythm of life.

The effortless flow.

You inhale deeply and allow the smell of the ocean.

The salt water spray against your face as the waves crash against the rocks.

You sit,

You listen,

You feel and you are at one.

The heat and light of the day slowly receding.

How simple life really can be.

How simply nature embraces change.

Allowing instead of resisting.

Everything having its time and its place.

Embracing instead of avoiding.

So many lessons to be shared from this moment alone.

The secrets of the earth that whisper quietly.

Always there,

Just waiting to be noticed.

The sun slowly slips beyond your view of the ocean,

Moving on to warm another part of the world.

And with the colours now dimmed from the disappearance of the sun,

You stand and you stretch.

Renewed and refreshed.

An inner knowing that the sun will rise again tomorrow and another day will begin.

An ending always before a beginning.

You find yourself walking back across the cooling rocks.

And you notice that your feet imprint the red earth as you leave footsteps in your wake.

They will be gone tomorrow.

But today in this moment they are here and you paused and you noticed.

And continue to relax into the silence for a few moments longer.

And when you are ready and in your own time,

Just allowing the eyes to gently open.

Holding on to any moments of stillness and quiet.

And when you are ready embracing the rest of your day.
