My name is Robert Aceves and I welcome you to this meditation to transform the energy of anger into loving-kindness.
This time,
We're going to immerse ourselves in a practice that will help us transform the energy of those difficult and negative emotions into something positive.
Let's begin.
Gently close your eyes.
Take a deep breath in.
And exhale.
That's it.
Relaxing your body and letting your body settle into a comfortable position for you.
Now,
Visualize a serious and angry person.
With a tough face,
Dressed in black.
Perfect.
Now,
Imagine that this person is a member of your family.
Feel how this person's dense energy approaches you as if they were next to you.
You may feel some discomfort or tension when thinking about this person with a difficult character.
Now,
Imagine that this person doesn't love people.
That they carry with them a burden of pain and resentment that prevents them from connecting with others.
Feel how that heavy energy seems to envelop you as you think about living with this person.
Facing their poor treatment day after day.
But now,
Imagine that that person leaves this world and leaves you as an inheritance of everything they were.
Suddenly,
You find yourself in their place.
With their same seriousness,
Anger,
And contempt for others.
Feel that energy take over you.
As if you were a reflection of what that person used to be.
But,
Is it really what you want for yourself?
Visualize now how that hardness begins to dissolve little by little.
Feeling how it transforms into a softer and more understanding energy.
And imagine how your features relax,
The tension in your body dissipates,
And you begin to feel a little love and compassion for others.
Feel how that energy expands within you.
How you become happier,
Lighter,
And more open to the world around you.
Now,
Take a deep breath in and feel the freedom that comes from letting go of all the anger and resentment.
Feeling the happiness that comes from opening your heart and truly loving everyone.
Allowing that loving kindness to take over yourself.
Continue to breathe deeply and allow yourself to inhabit the state of being.
That you can return to this meditation whenever you need to transform anger into loving kindness.
In moments,
You'll be able to open your eyes,
Feeling much better and with greater joy,
Returning to the present and with more confidence in yourself.
Open your eyes.
Stretching your body and feeling like you just woke up from a very long sleep.
