Hi,
My name is Robert As Chavez,
And I welcome you to this meditation to strengthen self-love and self-care.
I'm going to invite you to put yourself in a very comfortable position in a place where no one will interrupt you for the next few minutes and close your eyes.
Take a moment to settle and notice what you're feeling.
Feel the environment around you.
Is there a lot of noise?
Is there silence?
And take your time to settle and realize that this is your time.
This time is for you to feel comfortable and relax comfortably.
And while you continue to relax comfortably,
Listen to what I'm going to tell you.
It is very easy to say that we love ourselves and much more difficult to actually practice love for oneself.
The first thing to understand about love is that we cannot give something that we don't have,
Which is why the first step to loving ourselves is to understand what love is.
For me,
Love is acceptance,
And I have learned over time that love is also spiritual growth.
Think about a time when you met someone who motivated you to be a better person.
That is love.
In other words,
Love is the action of growing spiritually and accepting ourselves more each day as we are.
And once we can show that love to ourselves,
Are we ready to give that love to others?
And you may think that perhaps what you want the most is to be loved by a certain person.
I understand that.
However,
The first person who should give you their love is you.
And when you have that love and you can be happy without needing anyone,
Then you'll be ready to make others happy.
Think about that.
Also,
Self-care and self-love doesn't always mean that we're going to take a vacation,
Go to the beach,
Get a massage,
And forget about everything.
It also means trusting our heart and our intuition to guide us through the right path.
It means to take some time to be quiet with ourselves.
Sometimes it's about accepting that we're not perfect,
That perhaps we're going to make mistakes to which we can react in a more compassionate way and treat ourselves with love and kindness in those very difficult moments.
Think about that.
You can do this meditation with the intention of love and acceptance,
Allowing you the opportunity to be present to yourself without judging what will or will not happen during this time.
For this meditation,
You may also place your right hand on your heart to better connect with that vibration of your body at the same time that you take a deep breath in,
Filling your body with life and love,
Strengthening that love and releasing the air.
And as you release that air,
Releasing any tension that doesn't have to be with you anymore,
Allowing yourself to reach a deeper and more pleasant relaxation.
Once again,
Take another deep breath in and feel that energy of love flowing through your lungs and filling you with life.
And as you release the air,
Removing any physical or emotional tension,
You can already feel how your body feels more relaxed.
And in this state,
We can work on acceptance.
You may begin by imagining that you accept yourself as you are.
Imagine that you accept the place where you are in your life and how you are.
Imagine accepting your faults and your virtues,
Your strengths and weaknesses.
And imagine what it would be like to accept your body as is.
Imagine that you accept what you have achieved so far and what you have not achieved until now.
And you know that you are enough and that you always have been.
Feel the energy of accepting yourself as you are.
And that's it.
And now you can lower your right arm and allow it to relax comfortably.
And now,
Just relax and enjoy these moments of doing nothing.
Enjoy that feeling of love for yourself,
Connecting with your center on a deeper and more pleasant level.
Self-love is the foundation to know oneself because self-love is the basis of everything.
Self-care is knowing what helps us grow and feel better and what knocks us down and makes us feel less.
We all have needs that help us live better.
And you know what you need to be well.
So take this time to connect with yourself,
With your center and ask yourself,
What do you need today to be well?
And allow yourself the opportunity to enjoy what you need right now.
And now you can thank yourself for listening to your needs and for taking this time for yourself.
Self-love is accepting your thoughts,
Your actions and your emotions that manifest within you in a natural way.
It is accepting every part of you inside and outside of you.
So let's take this moment to shower you with love,
Compassion and gratitude.
Filling your body with this beautiful energy that has the power to heal the parts of your body that need attention.
It's a wonderful feeling of well-being that relaxes different parts of your body.
For example,
By paying attention to your feet,
You can feel your feet and accept your feet as they are.
And by accepting your feet with love,
You can feel how they relax with that love that you offer them more and more.
And continue to give that love to your legs and hip muscles.
Feel them touch the floor or the chair and thank them for supporting your body and for all they do for you.
And feel your legs and your hips relax more and more with love.
And this beautiful feeling of love is spreading throughout your entire body to your belly,
Your back,
Your chest.
It is a feeling of self-love and acceptance for all these parts of your body that do so much for you.
Accepting your internal organs and all parts of you that help you stay alive.
Feeling that love as an energy that flows to your arms and your hands all the way down to your fingers of your hands.
Healing and feeling every cell of your body with love,
Compassion,
And gratitude for everything your body does for you.
Offering lots of love and relaxing your body more and more.
And this beautiful energy of love reaches your neck and your head.
Relaxing your jaw,
Your mouth,
And all the muscles of your face.
Your whole head fills with love and relaxes more and more.
Your whole body is full of love.
And you can once again scan your body to see if there's still any physical or emotional tension.
And fill that part with love,
Compassion,
And gratitude.
Letting go of that tension.
Let it go.
You can also take this moment to let go of old ideas and beliefs from your past that limit you from living a happier life in the present.
Letting go of those ideas and beliefs that don't allow you to live life as you would like to live it.
Letting go of those ideas of perfection or expectations that life has to be a certain way.
You can also let go of those comparisons you make of yourself to other people or comparing the present with the past.
The past is in the past.
Let go of your past.
Let go of those negative and unpleasant emotions of guilt.
And above all,
Let go of the belief that you are not enough.
You can visualize this black energy leaving your body and your mind.
Letting go of everything right now and relaxing completely more and more.
And you can continue to listen to my voice.
Letting yourself be loved in this moment and feeling that unconditional love for yourself as you relax more and more.
This relaxation helps you to accept yourself better.
And you can take this time to accept yourself more just the way you are.
This time is for you.
And to pay attention to the parts of you that need attention and that perhaps you have forgotten about.
This is the time to recharge your batteries of self-love,
To recover internally and externally,
To heal the wounds that you carry inside and out.
It is time to forgive yourself and to forgive others who have hurt you in the past.
Forgiveness is also an act of love because you no longer have to carry that resentment with you or that anger towards anyone.
Simply forgive and forgive yourself.
And by forgiving yourself,
You can feel a more intense inner peace.
And how do you know that you have already forgiven yourself or others?
The answer,
You can feel more love for yourself and love others again.
Continue breathing and continue to create that self-love and acceptance for yourself.
What does it mean to love yourself?
Question I ask myself every day is,
If I love myself,
Would I eat this?
If I love myself,
Would I drink this?
If I love myself,
Would I do this?
And if the answer is no,
Then I don't do it.
And so I ask you,
If you love yourself,
Would you do what you do?
If you love yourself,
Would you eat what you eat?
If you love yourself,
Would you drink what you drink?
Continue breathing and connecting with that energy of self-love.
And feel how by accepting yourself as you are,
You can feel more confident in yourself.
Feel how by loving yourself,
You can feel more mental and spiritual strength.
Feel how by loving yourself,
You can already feel more desire to live and to learn new things every day.
And finally,
You can feel how by loving yourself,
You can also feel more love for others.
And now,
We're going to create thoughts of love for you.
Thoughts contain energy and have the power of transformation.
So we're going to choose thoughts that fill you with positive energy,
Love and kindness.
We're going to put them in the form of affirmations that you will repeat to yourself mentally throughout your day.
Repeat after me.
I love myself.
I accept myself as I am.
I deserve to be happy.
I believe in myself and in my abilities.
Every day,
I allow my love for myself to grow more and more.
I deserve love and respect for myself.
My self-esteem grows along with my self-love.
I am complete.
Wherever I am,
I am happy and I accept myself as I am.
I feel the unconditional love I have for myself,
Vibrating through every cell of my body and being.
I am thankful for who I am.
I am happy with myself.
I am enough.
That's it.
Now you don't have to do anything.
Right now,
Your energy is adjusting.
We're going to let these thoughts of love sink into your mind and into your heart.
And little by little,
You're going to return to the present,
Feeling your body lighter,
Feeling each part of your body as it already feels more full of life and love.
Little by little,
You're going to wake up and feel your feet and your legs lighter and lighter.
Your arms and your hands become lighter and lighter.
And when you're ready,
You'll open your eyes,
Feeling much better,
With more life and more vitality,
Feeling a great sense of confidence in yourself,
Lots of self-love,
Compassion and gratitude,
For these moments and stretching your body as if you just woke up.
