This meditation is about letting go of fear.
How to release fear,
How to release limiting patterns of suffering.
The Buddha used one single word to describe suffering,
Fear.
The most frequent response to something unknown is fear.
The fear mostly is about the future.
In the Zen tradition there is an koan which says don't invite the future,
Don't prolong the past.
Don't fear appearances.
Don't alter your inner wakefulness,
There's nothing more than that.
So we make a step out of time.
To make a step out of time you just go beyond your mind,
Into the body.
The body is always present.
And since very often the actual situation of insecurity mixes with patterns from the past,
What we're going to encounter in this meditation is how to release the past,
How to dissolve the pain body.
Which what would happen if we were outside and that is.
You You You You You Whatever threatens you whatever worries you You stop thinking about it Instead move into the wisdom of your body So your first impulse should be where do I feel the fear the pain the suffering the tension Ask your body Get in contact With the sensation The felt sense of whatever worries you Because once you dissolve the memory which is stored in the body The fear is gone So let your mind rest it in open space Take a back one step to the upper part of the back of your head Whatever is running through your mind right now Let it be let it run Forget about what's running through your mind Forget about what's running through your mind focus on the sensation in your body Your attitude should be like a researcher The best definition of the unconscious I ever heard is The unconscious is your body Your unconscious mind is your body So right now scan your body Ask your body is there anything You would like to tell me Is there anything is there any sensation Is there anything is there any sensation You want me to put my attention on to be aware of This is true for every negative emotion If there's anger or fear resentment Just research What is the felt sense?
How does it feel?
What is the sensation and ask your body could I let it go?
How would it feel like if I could let it go right now?
Be ready to discover That under the sensation There might be a sensation sensation There might be another sensation hidden Not yet conscious Just observe from the back of your head Whatever You sense in your body wherever there's tension go there with your awareness If you find a block of energy there or tension Just imagine it as a piece of ice And with your consciousness Imagine it's like the Sun melting the piece of ice So it becomes liquid You You You You You The most important step you can make to end suffering Or to end fear is to confront suffering to confront fear the sensation in the body To look for it to be open for it Allow yourself to be surprised how this emotion which we call fear or anger how it really feels Once you consciously move into it it will be resolved You You You You You You You You You You You You You You You You You You You You You You You You You You You You You You You You You You You You You You You You You You You You You You You You You You You You You You You You
