I hope you're doing well today.
So today,
This meditation is going to be all about courage.
Because most of the time,
Everything we want to get done is just being stopped by this mind.
These sometimes unconscious doubts,
Challenges,
Thoughts,
Come in and they stop us.
They tell us that there's a potential danger or there's something to look out for.
So this meditation is all about helping you to get into a place where you are able to take action and feel the courage that's inside you.
So get yourself into a comfortable position.
This could be seated,
Lying down.
Just a place where you can give yourself this gift of presence.
So allow your eyes to close if they haven't done so already.
And first,
Start to notice your breath.
Not trying to change it.
Just sensing this air coming in from the outside.
Inflating your stomach and then releasing out of your stomach and going back to the outside.
Just watch it.
Feel the air coming in.
And then going out.
On its own,
Without you having to do anything.
Perhaps some thoughts might appear.
But that's okay.
The thoughts come just as the breath comes.
Let them be.
Don't try and push them away.
Just have an inner smile.
Congratulate yourself for noticing them.
Keep following your breath,
Focusing on the movement of your breath.
And now focus on your toes.
The toes on your left foot.
The toes on your right foot.
Both feet together.
And then bring your awareness to your left leg.
Your right leg.
Your hips.
Your stomach.
Your lower back.
Your chest area.
Your throat.
Your neck.
Back of the head.
The face.
Let your jaw relax.
Let your tongue relax.
Feel both eyes sinking into the back of the sockets.
Feel your forehead wide.
And bring awareness to the top of your head.
Notice the whole body is one piece.
The whole body.
And then bring your awareness back to the stomach.
Breath moving in the stomach.
See if you can sense this fire in your stomach.
Like a candle.
Imagine that you can see a candle in your stomach.
Feel this candle burning.
And each time your breath comes in,
Feel the candle burning with even more strength.
And as you breathe out,
Feel all of the challenges and the fears of the mind blowing away like smoke.
Breathing in candle,
Flame is getting more powerful.
Breathing out more clarity.
Focus.
Now keep doing this on your own.
Watching this flame grow larger and larger.
Feeling this flame grow larger and larger.
Lighting up your whole body.
Now feel the flame spreading through to other parts of the body.
Imagine this flame growing in height.
And it's going from the stomach to the heart.
Feel this flame going to your heart.
And think of somebody in your life that you have deep love for.
Imagine seeing them in front of you.
Just feel this love that you have for them in your heart.
Feel the light from the flame in your stomach reaching and lighting up the heart.
And see if you can express some kind word to this person that you love.
Or a phrase.
Wishing them to be well.
Wishing them all of your love.
And now imagine this flame in your heart expressing itself back to you.
Feel this love for a part of you inside.
Feel this flame growing and growing in your heart.
The energy building.
And feel this love for yourself.
And now imagine that this flame,
It goes from your heart to the top of your head.
And out of your head.
Feel this fire inside you.
This fiery love bursting outwardly.
Almost like a volcano releasing all of this power outwardly to the world.
Feel everything that you have inside of you.
All of this power that you have coming from your stomach rising to the top of your head.
And bursting out like a volcano.
Expressing outwardly to the world.
Sensing this power inside you.
Feeling your whole body full with energy.
Readiness.
Courage.
Love.
And power.
Feel it.
Embrace it.
And allow it to sink in.
Now feel this power going back into your heart.
Ready for you to harness anytime you wish.
Allow yourself to slow down.
And be with it.
And start preparing yourself to come back to your physical environment.
I'll count down from three.
But you can stay for longer if you wish.
Picture the number three.
Start to move your fingers and toes.
Picture the number two.
And start feeling aware and awake and energized.
Picture the number one and prepare to continue with your day full of life.
Ready for anything that the world is going to throw at you.
Ready to take on the world.
It's all there within you.
Gently open your eyes and allow yourself to digest what we've just done.
If you have time,
Give yourself a few moments to just sit in silence.
Let this absorb.
Let yourself reflect.
And if you have a little bit more time,
Perhaps write down what your experience was like.
And what you might do differently now after it.
