Hello,
My name is Kara and I'm going to be leading you on this guided meditation today.
I'd like to invite you to find a comfortable position that allows you to feel supported and nurtured.
This could be any position whatsoever that feels good in your body.
Sitting,
Laying down,
Kneeling,
Or even standing,
It truly is about what feels good for you.
The most effective way to do this meditation is to have a physical crystal that you are able to hold and look at.
However,
If you don't have a piece of crystal or stone that you would like to work with right now,
You can absolutely imagine your crystal as we work through the meditation.
If you do have a crystal you would like to focus on,
Please cup it gently in whichever hand feels instinctively correct today.
And continue to settle in,
Ensuring that you feel as comfortable as possible.
If it feels safe to do so,
Allow your eyes to drift closed or allow your gaze to soften.
We will begin by tuning into the breath for a few moments.
Notice where in your body you are feeling your breath today.
Notice if your breath is feeling smooth and free.
Notice if you are feeling any tightness.
Apply no judgment to your breath,
Positive or negative.
The practice is simply to notice and to accept.
Still feeling your breath,
Begin to allow your focus to shift a little.
Start to bring the crystal in your hand into your awareness.
Feel the weight of it.
Notice the temperature.
Does your crystal feel cool or does it feel warm to your touch?
Allow your exhale to soften your fingers and hand around the crystal.
Let your fingers or thumb play gently over the surface of it.
Is it smooth or rough?
Does it have bumps or cracks?
What are you noticing about the surface itself?
What do your fingers tell you about this crystal?
Invite your attention now to broaden again,
Returning to your breath while still holding the feeling of your crystal in your awareness.
Notice if the feeling of your breath has changed at all while you have been connecting with your crystal.
Gently now,
Without rushing,
Allow your eyes to drift open or bring your gaze back into focus.
Gently guide your gaze to the crystal itself.
For just a breath or two,
Simply observe the crystal.
As you gaze,
Begin to notice aspects.
Is it clear or opaque?
Is the shape smooth?
Is the shape immediately identifiable or is it irregular?
What colors do you notice right away?
Are there textures and occlusions within the crystal?
Does the appearance of the surface seem to match what your fingers told you?
The deeper you are moving now into your crystal,
Are there any hidden colors coming out for you?
As new details and aspects of your crystal continue to appear for you,
Allow yourself to connect back into the physical sensation of the crystal in your hand.
Invite your breath to merge the visual and the physical together.
Take a moment here to experience your crystal in this larger way.
Slide back now into your breath.
Realizing that the experience of your crystal stays with you as you breathe.
Invite your eyes to flutter closed again or for your gaze to soften.
Allow your focus now to drift.
No longer thinking of color or weight or shape.
Instead,
While holding the crystal in your awareness,
Invite the energy of the crystal to make itself known to you.
Begin to notice now if the sensation in your hand changes.
Notice if any new sensations are arising in your body.
Notice any emotions or thoughts that are coming up for you.
Something that has arisen for you.
Thank it for coming to your attention.
And then release it.
Return back into your breath and back into a soft awareness of the crystal itself.
Allow yourself to be in this moment,
Connecting,
Communing with your crystal.
And then if it feels okay and you feel ready,
Allow your eyes to open and bring both the physical and energetic realities of your crystal together.
Feel the weight.
See the colors.
Experience the energy.
Be with the crystal in its entirety.
Invite in a deep breath.
Allow your fingers to close around your crystal.
Thank it for spending this time with you.
Gently draw yourself away now from the crystal.
Pulling your attention entirely back into your breath.
Place the crystal on the ground in front of you or beside you.
Now it is time to return entirely into yourself.
Place your hands on your chest or onto your belly.
Feel the connection between your body and your hands.
Feel the rise and fall as you inhale and exhale and the air becomes breath and the breath becomes air again.
Breathe deeply,
Giving as much of your attention into your breath as you are able.
As you continue to return into your body and into your space,
You may wish to invite in a little movement.
Wiggling your fingers or toes.
Rocking your head side to side.
Maybe a nice full body stretch.
Just moving in whatever way feels right in your body in this moment.
I encourage you to move with care as you continue to return into your space.
Offering yourself gentleness and kindness as you return to your day.
