Welcome to your guided meditation.
Lie down on your back,
Adjust your body so that your spine is straight.
Palms face up towards the sky,
Feet dropped out to the sides.
And now,
Softly close your eyes.
Take a slow,
Deep inhale and slow,
Full exhale.
As you allow the past to fade away and forget about the future,
Focus every bit of your awareness onto this precious moment right now.
Notice the temperature of the air around your body.
The feel of your clothes against your skin.
The beat of your heart.
Your breath,
Lulling you to a space of vast inner silence.
Notice your body being held by the ground,
Pulling you down as your body continuously let go.
Notice yourself sinking into a deeper state of relaxation.
Inner gaze flowing with your breath.
In through the nose and out through the nose.
Notice your expansion on the inhales.
Allow the breath to fill you up.
And on your next exhale,
Repeat to yourself.
Relax.
Relax.
Now,
Begin to see,
Feel a shimmering ball of energy.
A golden ball of sunlight hovering just above your head.
And with each breath,
This light grows brighter and more vibrant.
This light has the ability to relax and release every part of your body that it comes into contact with.
Feel it tingling the crown of your head.
Relaxing the scalp.
As the forehead softens,
The light cascades down over your face.
Relaxing your eyebrows.
Softening all the tiny muscles around the eyes.
Relaxing the cheeks.
Ears.
Nose.
Mouth.
Tongue.
Your teeth.
And the jaw.
Feel this golden,
Soothing light flow through your head.
Allowing the mind to become so still and calm.
As you drop out of the mind and into the body,
The light flows down your neck.
Relaxing your collarbones and chest.
Ears become heavy as the light rolls down your arms like a wave of softness.
Relaxing every muscle in your hands.
Having there to be a little more space between your fingers.
As the back sinks deeper,
Allow yourself to be fully supported and held.
As the light fills up your torso,
Softening your belly and swirling through your hips.
Relaxing deeper now.
Relaxing down the thighs.
Knees.
Shins.
And ankles.
Relaxing the top of the feet.
The soles of the feet.
All the toes are relaxed.
Your whole body is completely relaxed.
And folded in this calming,
Golden energy.
Feel it to continue to intertwine with your peaceful energy.
Feel an energy of safety and grounding flowing in.
Calling you to root.
See the roots extending from your legs through the soles of your feet beginning to grow.
Feel them move down into the earth beneath you.
Occurring deep down through the soil,
Earth,
Water and rocks,
Past precious minerals,
Crystals and veins of gold.
Down deeper down.
Feel roots pass and anchor all the way down to the centre of the earth.
Anchoring into the fiery core of the planet.
Breathing,
Rooting there.
You are grounded.
You are connected.
You are safe.
You are solid.
Begin to release anything you would like to get rid of.
See it running down through your roots,
Down into the centre of the earth.
Composting your old emotions,
Stories and any useless patterns.
Entering the earth,
Transform them into something beautiful and new.
Inhale,
Full exhale.
Begin to draw the energy of the earth up.
Up through your roots.
This earthy life force energy of our planet.
Bring it up through the soles of your feet.
Maybe even sense it,
Smell it.
Resonance of fresh air at the shore.
Feel it coming through your feet.
Like a touch of the softest grass.
Feel it flow up your legs,
Torso,
Arms and heart space.
Bring it pulse and course through your whole body.
Allow it to flow to wherever it wants to go.
Touch in the sensation of groundedness.
You are rooted.
You are secure.
You are unshakable.
Allow this earth energy to ground your body and spirit into a place of stability and pure peace.
Pucker the earth energy into your heart and give yourself permission to feel,
To feel it all.
Your beauty.
Your power.
Allow your sound to soothe you.
As you take a deep inhale and on the exhale let out a sigh.
And now start to shift your awareness up from your heart.
Up the neck and to the crown of your head.
Tune into the energy here.
Begin to feel the crown of your hand blossoming and opening like a thousand petaled lotus leaf.
Opening to face the sun.
Unfolding.
Expanding.
Beaming light.
Move your awareness up.
Above your body.
Up above the houses.
Above the clouds.
Through the earth's atmosphere.
Connecting to the stars and the planets and the galaxies.
Linking to all constellations and beyond.
Moving your awareness up to the most distant place you can imagine.
The breath travels with you.
Now call in the light from the stars back down into your body.
Through the crown of your head.
Feel the radiant,
Vivid light flowing down like a waterfall.
It swirls and pulsates through your body,
Washing down your arms and hands.
Through your chest,
Stomach and legs.
Illuminating any areas of unease.
Vibrating and igniting every bit of your body.
Through the bones and blood.
Through each and every cell.
See yourself as a lighthouse.
Radiantly alive.
And now anchor the light in the very centre of your heart.
Feel it all.
Feel the swirl of the grounding earth's energy intertwine with the heavenly cosmic energy.
The yin and the yang.
No matter where the planets are in the sky,
No matter what is happening in the external world,
See yourself standing tall,
Walking tall,
Holding your own.
Bathe in the light of your own unwavering strength.
Within you is the power of a thousand galaxies.
Feel it.
Embody it.
Breathe it all in.
Now use your breath to gather all of your energy to call all the parts of yourself back home.
Bringing yourself back to the space you are in.
Carrying the energy of the earth and the heavens back with you.
Take a slow and deep breath in.
And a slow delicious breath out.
Focus on the rise and the fall of your belly and make your next breath a little deeper than the last.
An energising awakening breath as you begin to make small movements in your body.
Moving fingers and toes.
Gently rock your neck side to side to massage out the back of your head.
And begin to move in a way that feels good.
Coming back.
Breathe in.
Breathe out.
And gently blink your eyes open.
Give them a moment to adjust.
