Take a moment to make yourself comfortable.
Either finding somewhere quiet where you won't be disturbed for the next little while.
You can take yourself to a seated position or lying down comfortably.
Whatever makes you feel the most comfortable.
This is your time.
This is your time to focus on yourself.
To focus inward.
This is your time to allow the outside world to simply float away just for now.
This is your time to know that this is a time for you.
A time when nobody is demanding anything of you.
Nobody wants anything of you right now.
This is your gift to yourself.
So now once you're settled just allow those eyes to gently close.
Just noticing for a moment what is going on behind those closed eyes.
Perhaps noticing if you can see colors.
Perhaps you can see nothing at all.
Simply a black velvet curtain.
But just know that whatever it is that is happening for you is exactly what is meant to be happening.
There's no right.
There's no wrong.
There is just being.
And now just bring your focus for a moment to the breath.
Noticing the breath flowing in and out of the body.
Feeling the movement of the body with the breath.
Feeling the rise and fall of the chest and the abdomen.
Perhaps being aware that the air feels a little cooler on the upper lip with the inhalation.
Just a little warmer on the exhalation.
Just noticing any tiny sensations caused by the breath.
Welcoming them.
Reaching out to them with curiosity and wonder as you begin to relax more and more deeply.
And just focus your attention now on any sounds that you might hear.
Just noticing any sounds that you hear.
Any voices that you hear either inside or out.
And just know that every sound,
Every voice that you hear either inside or out will simply help to enhance the wonderful,
Deep,
Deep level of relaxation that you are experiencing.
I'd like you to tap into your beautiful,
Rich imagination.
We all have these wonderful imaginations that we used to live in as children.
And as adults we sometimes put that aside as childish behavior.
But the imagination is a wonderful,
Wonderful thing.
And tapping into that imagination,
I'd now like you to imagine,
Pretend,
Get a sense or a feeling,
Whatever is most vivid for you,
That right above you is a beautiful,
Brilliant,
White light.
Just noticing that light,
Imagining,
Seeing,
Sensing,
Feeling those rays reaching down from above.
And now noticing how that beautiful,
Vibrant,
White light begins moving closer and closer with every breath you take.
And now as you breathe in deeply,
These wonderful rays of vibrant,
White light reach out and touch you,
Spreading warmth,
Soothing relaxation as it now wraps itself lovingly around you,
Traveling down through the crown chakra,
Down through the chakra system,
Traveling around the body,
Forming a protective bubble,
A protective shield all around you.
And know that this shield is yours.
This pure,
Vibrant,
White light filling and engulfing you is your life force energy.
This is your magic bubble of protection.
And this is yours to direct in any way that you choose.
You can expand this protective shield out further and further away from the body,
Or you can bring it close,
Almost like a second skin.
This is your protective shield,
Your protective bubble to be used in any way you choose,
Allowing peacefulness to fill every part of you.
Breathing this beautiful,
Radiant,
White light into your lungs,
Feeling its warmth as it spreads within the body,
Touching every part of you,
Every cell,
Every nerve,
Every muscle,
Every fiber in the body,
Glowing with this beautiful life force energy.
Allow this energy to surround you,
To comfort you,
To soothe you.
Taking this protective shield with you everywhere that you go,
Knowing that you can guide it and you can direct it in any way that you choose.
Taking it with you everywhere you go.
This is yours.
It is special.
It is protective.
It is magical.
Just allow yourself to fully absorb these wonderful sensations,
Feeling protected,
Feeling soothed,
Feeling at ease,
Feeling at peace.
And then whenever you're ready,
Return to the room knowing that this protective bubble is yours and it is always there to serve you.
