Welcome to this guided sleep meditation.

My name is Leslie and I'm grateful that you have chosen me to guide you as you sleep soundly right through the night.

So just take a moment to get yourself nice and comfortable and I'll just give you a moment as you give yourself the space to settle.

Now as the sun goes down and the day ends and the shadows fall like a warm blanket surrounding you with a sweet soft touch like that of a mother's kiss.

You may notice how easy it is to tune into the rhythm of your breath.

Your chest moving up and down,

Moving in and out in a comfortable and easy way.

The fact that you lay down with the intention of sleeping means that you are ready now to trust your unconscious mind to do its job of healing you as you sleep and know that you will stay asleep until the morning.

The autonomic nervous system directs and controls your breathing.

Your inner mind breathes for you day after day,

Week after week,

Year after year.

Automatically it beats your heart assuming an even regular rhythmical pattern for your health and benefit.

Three billion times during your lifetime circulating oxygen-rich blood throughout your body with a pulsing even regular rhythm.

And I'm wondering if you know that your body breathes by itself.

As you begin to slow down now,

Remember how much you deserve to sleep.

When you were younger you used to believe that rewards were a normal part of life.

Every parent knows that when a child is asked to do something,

The first response is usually,

Then can I play or have a friend over?

Rewarding yourself is a normal and a natural thing to do.

It's time to renew your promise to give yourself the reward of a wonderful,

Restful night's sleep.

A full night,

Eight glorious hours of peace of mind when your body can replenish itself,

Repair and renew.

The promise of a new morning tomorrow with endless possibilities for your wonderful future.

Safe,

Secure in the knowledge that your unconscious mind is patiently waiting to begin healing,

Cleansing,

Organizing nutrients and oxygen for your mind and body to function at optimum health.

Your conscious mind can now take the time off to just free yourself now.

You deserve to sleep.

You deserve to be here,

To be happy.

That's right.

And I'm wondering just when you'll begin to notice that your eyelids are getting so heavy.

All the tiny muscles softening,

Releasing your face,

Neck and shoulders sinking into the pillow with a delicious feeling of trust and safety.

Yeah,

That's right.

You are doing a very important job when you allow yourself to sleep deeply.

Now,

Every night the blueprint of perfect health is activated just as it was when you were not even born yet,

Still inside the womb.

Free yourself as you surrender,

Melting away.

Surrender to sleep and allow your unconscious mind to balance your hormones,

Connecting deep inside with the memory of before you were even born.

3 months and fully formed.

7 weeks and you have a heartbeat,

An ocean of warmth and protection,

Perfect bliss,

Peace,

Complete freedom.

Secure in the knowledge that solutions are found in this deep,

Deep state of perfect sleep.

Giving thanks for this most wonderful life,

For the blue sky,

The freshness of the morning,

The joy of waking up in the morning after having slept solidly the whole night through.

Ready to begin.

Now slowing down.

You are safe,

Comfortable and in control.

Simply put all the noise outside your mind and listen instead to the deep,

Steady rhythm inside.

Direct your attention to the pulsing going on deep within your body.

Every cell in your beautiful,

Amazing body is aware of a wash of nutrients flooding each and every cell with every heartbeat,

Like a wave washing on the shore,

Collecting waste products and carrying them away.

You may be ready now or in the next few moments to connect with trust and harmony,

Peace and joy.

You know that you are generous.

You have integrity and a deep,

Deep wisdom,

Truth and understanding,

Loving kindness,

Equanimity,

Balance and forgiveness for yourself and others.

Because you are lying down in a comfortable position,

Your blood pressure is lowering to the correct level,

Bringing a sense of stillness deep inside now.

The stillness that lets you know that you trust your unconscious mind to work for the whole time that you are sleeping,

Replenishing and healing every cell,

Every organ,

Every tissue in your amazing body.

And I'm wondering if you know which part of your body is more relaxed than another.

Are your legs more relaxed than your spine?

Are your arms more relaxed than your legs?

Are they heavier or lighter as you relax more and more deeply now?

Does your heartbeat faster or slower?

The more you resist that relaxation,

The more you'll simply want to just let go and drift.

So all you have to do now is feel and experience the rhythm of your body,

Connecting with the delightful feeling of stillness that is beginning.

Just being here,

Noticing the rhythm,

Enjoying the feeling of a deep comfort and peace inside.

And the magic begins as you drift and float,

Float and drift.

Your inner mind knows what it's doing and it needs you to allow it to get on with directing your healing with the same efficiency that it directs your breathing,

Your digestion,

Your elimination and circulation.

The more,

The healthier you become.

Enjoying your comfort,

Able to trust your unconscious mind to do its job,

Sorting and filing.

It needs quiet to do that.

And I know that you want to help it by sleeping deeply and peacefully right through the night.

So I'm wondering if you would like to give it a job to do.

After all,

It can process much more quickly than you can.

It filters and sorts two million pieces of information every second.

So perhaps it can look for solutions for you as you give your conscious mind time off to sleep,

To sleep a whole night through.

Your mind needs to function,

Peak performance.

Perhaps you can imagine a safe place in nature nestled among some trees is the most beautiful staircase going.

Yeah.

15 steps.

And in a moment,

Not yet,

But in a moment,

I'm going to count those steps down.

And as you listen,

You may find yourself stepping down into the most amazing place.

Just taking that first step down and notice the feeling of release.

Deeper down.

Deeper and deeper still.

The breath slowing.

And you were thinking of something before,

But now it really doesn't matter,

Does it?

Because your unconscious mind is getting ready to think for you.

Nothing matters when you're this this comfortable.

Deeper and deeper still.

A warmth softening your forehead,

Your face smoothing and flowing.

Deeper and deeper with 6.

That's right.

And all the way down now.

All the way down with one.

And at the bottom of the steps,

You find a doorway leading into the heart of the memory continuum.

A room in the very center of your being that is connected to the past,

The present and future,

Like a stream that has no beginning and no end.

And this is the wondrous place where all the changes happen.

As you walk through the room of changes,

You may notice some boxes or files,

Hundreds of them neatly ordered and labeled.

The boxes have labels such as release and let go of negative emotions.

Preserve all the learnings for later use.

Relationships.

How to have intimacy.

Success.

Prosperity.

Home.

Health.

Career.

Happiness.

Family.

Children.

Purpose.

Truth.

And decide now what you'd like answers and solutions to.

Just take out a box with one of the labels that suits your purpose.

Place it in the center of the room in a shaft of sunlight that streams in through the roof.

As you bring it into the light,

You feel a sense of relief knowing that your inner mind is ready to begin bringing you solutions in the morning as you awake.

It knows what to do as it consults your own deep inner knowledge.

A treasury of billions of possibilities for your happiness,

For your inner peace.

And it needs all night to do the research on your behalf for the best resolution.

Going into the storehouse of treasures which can only be found at the deepest,

Deepest levels of sleep.

A feeling of satisfaction washes over you as you can now relax completely.

And was it when you were younger that you used to sleep right through the night deeply and easily?

How old were you?

A teenager?

Or was it when you were eight?

Or back as far as when you were two?

Perhaps it was before you could even walk,

Before you could crawl.

When you simply let.

Your parent has the responsibility of watching over you.

Or was it the angels?

Perhaps even further back to when you were part of something bigger than yourself.

Remember having that trust that your body is now taking care of all of your needs.

Floating and drifting in the most comfortable oneness.

Light.

Life.

Going back to when wishes were as real as hope and joy.

An everyday occurrence.

If you were to wish for the most wonderful thing in the world,

What would that be?

That's right.

That's what's really important.

And the rest simply melts away.

Trusting.

Knowing.

Feeling.

Breathing.

Find now the one place in your body that's already drifting.

Direct your attention to the one cell which is already comfortable.

It's already sleeping.

Observe it snuggling down with the cells next to it.

And those cells falling gently asleep.

Those cells snuggling the next ones through your entire body now.

And which cell in your head will be the first one to sleep?

Is it at the back of your mind?

Or the front?

To the right?

Or to the left?

I don't know.

I'm wondering if all the cells will soon be asleep and stay asleep until morning while the unconscious mind continues sorting,

Clearing,

Changing and directing like a protective parent.

It wants what's best for you.

It wants you to have a wonderful full night's sleep.

Because you'll live longer when you sleep all through the night.

Your passage is clear.

Breathing easily and silently.

Because that's the healthiest way to sleep.

As you dream of the happiness ahead,

You may feel the shift deep inside.

Sleep deeply now.

The sleep of the pure.

The sleep of the true.

Reconnect with the authentic you.

The you that helps others and that needs to allow yourself to be helped now.

Easily and deeply.

And you'll sleep soundly all the way through until morning.

All through the night.

Tomorrow,

Perhaps,

Is when you wake up with all the answers.

Health is the most important thing that you have.

And it's time to instruct the unconscious mind to do its job of keeping you asleep all night long.

As your unconscious mind accesses the deep,

Deep inner wisdom that you have inside.

So do that now.

As you allow your mind to drift and dream the whole night through.

Perhaps a full eight hours.

Hold on to that sleep until you need to get up in the morning.

Resting.

Rejuvenating.

Awakening in the morning with a broader perspective of what is and isn't important.

Your mind is ready to find treasure and to bring it to you with a sense of excitement every morning as you awake on time with a feeling of satisfaction that you just had the best night's sleep.

Didn't you?

Waking up to a brand new day.

Every morning is the most wonderful morning of your life.

As you awaken,

Fully refreshed,

Ready to take a new chance to find everything you want to have,

To be,

Or to do.

People are searching for you so that they can support and promote you.

Success and financial security are searching for you just as you are searching for them.

Wonderful relationships and great health are yours for the asking.

As it is your unconscious mind that is the one who knows where all the answers are.

So trust your unconscious mind and every night as you lie down to sleep with the intention of staying asleep all through the night,

You'll automatically go down that staircase to give your inner mind the chance to do its part.

Reminding your unconscious mind to motivate you to exercise every day as you help it to look after your wonderful amazing body now.

Bringing you fresh new ideas with morning.

Reminding you as you awake to drink plenty of fresh water.

As you find yourself newly attracted to colourful,

Healthy fruits and vegetables.

Balancing your eating and allowing your body to maintain optimum health so that your conscious mind can switch off every night.

As both parts of your brain harmonize together and come into balance,

What colour would be inside your mind if you could imagine that now?

Colour flowing from one side to another like a figure eight,

Blending and balancing as it moves freely now.

You awake every morning feeling the best you have felt so far.

Waking up at the perfect time for you.

Feeling refreshed,

Revitalized,

Feeling completely healthy.

You feel great.

You are fully healed on every level.

Mentally,

Physically,

Spiritually and emotionally.

With a sense of optimism,

Freedom and lightness again.

And as you open your eyes each and every morning after having slept a full night through,

You open your eyes every day to your wonderful life.

And as you now allow yourself to simply float and drift,

Sleeping the whole night through.
