Rest in your favorite pose and fine tune your comfort.

Become aware of your breath,

The pace,

The quality.

Feel the cool air past the nostrils on each inhale.

Consciously start to lengthen your exhales.

Let there be a comfortable pause after each exhale.

Start to relax any tension in the body.

Relax the small muscles of your face,

Softening the lips,

Jaw,

Brow muscles.

Let your natural breath occur now.

Relax at the space of the temples,

Inside the ears and inside the mouth.

Arms and feet are relaxed.

Find a place where you can release tension in thoughts.

Find a place of balance with the hemispheres of the body.

Perhaps you close down the eyes and lower the gaze of the mind to a soft internalized focus.

Start to take note at the root of your seat where the pelvis has contact with the surface below.

Feel the comfort and safety that gravity provides,

Continuously holding us in connection with the earth.

Note this feeling of safety as a physical sensation at the base of the pelvis.

There is a subtle radiation of energy that you may notice here.

You can feel this energy stronger when you are relaxed and when your breathing has slowed.

Feel your weight against the earth.

Feel the comfort and safety here.

Let it grow.

Let it radiate.

This is the energy of your root chakra.

The energy of the chakra system has been identified in the human body on a neuropeptide level.

You can always slow yourself down and bring your awareness to the calm,

Firm comfort of the root chakra.

Slowly raise your awareness to the pit of the stomach.

Slow the navel,

Your celiac plexus.

Become aware of any physical sensations in this region.

Here you can feel the gut instinct of knowing what is right for you and your body.

This is the sacral chakra,

The space where you can feel your creative inspiration and your passion.

There is also a feeling of connection that can resonate here.

What do you feel here?

Are there any words that come to mind when you focus on feeling your energy here?

Any emotion arising?

Take note with only curiosity,

Not judgment,

And gently move your focus on.

Scan the area around your lower sternum,

The center of your solar plexus.

Just wait and watch for physical sensation,

Mental images that arise or thoughts that come and go as you focus your awareness here.

As you breathe in,

Your diaphragm expands the nature of energy in your body.

As you slowly breathe out,

You can tune in.

Tune in to the subtleties of the physical body and feel the energy of your independent will here.

Honing this focus strengthens the power to carry through the moments mindfully,

Anchoring your conscious awareness firmly in the present moment.

Raise the inner gaze of your awareness now to the heart center.

Take a nice moment to just let it soften.

Soften then feel.

Feel into the space with patience and acceptance.

Waiting,

Watching to see what arises in this energetic space.

Watching and accepting as you just notice.

Bringing your focused awareness to the heart chakra can be a profound source of gratitude.

Feel gratitude for taking this time for yourself.

Let that feeling of gratitude radiate,

Knowing when you take time for yourself,

You are better able to have clarity and show kindness for yourself and others.

Allow love for yourself and others to flourish and fill your heart space beyond any so-called parameter.

Honoring your focus to the feeling of the pit of the throat.

What is the quality of feeling here?

This energy center encompasses the throat and includes the ears.

When we have listened to our inner voice and listened to the perspective of others with an open mind and an open heart,

We are then able to speak our truth strongly and clearly.

Giving to our own energy and caring for the self allows us to mindfully express only what is true and kind when we choose to speak.

Bring your attention to the brow center just up from between the eyes.

Let the gaze rest inside of the eyelids but allow a soft focus to develop on the brow center.

Breathe here and watch and wait.

Let the brow chakra be a blank canvas for any images that your subconscious provides.

This is where we can find an all-knowing of our inner knowing.

We can remove the perspective of self when we hone our focus here,

Watching and listening from within.

Now let your focus move to the space where your mind rests inside your skull.

See if you can imagine the physical sensation of the hemispheres of the brain.

Imagine the different sections that light up with memories versus the sections that light up with new ideas or the mathematical or musical sections of the brain.

Visualize thoughts traveling along their neural pathways and the synapse spark of a new connection lighting up a new pathway for a new habit or for a more free perspective.

Feel the expansive nature of a curious open-minded state.

Be aware of this as a felt sensation radiating in the brain of the physical body,

Open to the unknown,

Connected to the infinite universe in conscious awareness and grounded on earth in your energized body at home in this present moment,

Aware mindfully,

Consciously,

Connected right here,

Right now.
