I remember once this neighbour criticized my mom because she let us eat pumpkin pie for breakfast.

But when she made the pumpkin pie she put 12 eggs in there.

So there's 12 eggs in a pie and you know the yellow vegetable.

And compared to you know Cheerios or Frosted Flakes it's probably much more nutritious.

But to this neighbour she just couldn't see that.

It was just like bad.

My mom was bad.

So this is exactly what I want to talk about.

I want to talk about where our minds get too narrow and cause us sorrow.

Cause us unnecessary difficulty and sorrow.

You know it is the feminine polarity in humanity that sees the similarity of things.

That sees the unity of things.

And it's the masculine side that sees the differences.

And we need both.

We really do.

Because if it's just the feminine then there's not enough discernment.

But we're maybe a little bit over to the masculine.

So there's too much focus on the differences.

Too much you know judgement.

Really.

And it's hurting us.

Yeah.

You know every human being is so much the same.

We're all human.

That's the strongest most similar thing about us all.

You know no matter what the colour of our skin or our personality.

That's much smaller than the great unity of that we're all human.

And I feel we'd be happier if we kept sight of that.

Part of the difficulty is you know when we think of who we are we usually think of our imprinting like we think of our parents and maybe the street where we're born and the city we were born and maybe the religion to which we belong.

And those are all we need those.

But we see through those filters too.

And sometimes the filters are too they make us forget we're all human.

So you know one of the ways that our minds can broaden is actually when we do something that we don't approve of.

Like where we make a real mistake.

We have a fall.

We really maybe screw up.

And then since it's us we have to change our point of view because we can't really say off with our own head right.

So our minds and personalities then expand to increase this new information.

Meditation can bring you new information.

You know falling in love can bring you new information.

A trip you know doing some new vision quest.

This also can expand your mind.

And you know feeling the dense emotions inside that come up.

Say if our anger comes up if we learn how to observe without buying into it fully.

You can feel the anger but we know that our storyline isn't accurate that there's probably more to the situation than what our ego is telling us.

If we just be with the anger learn how to give it over just be with it and watch it till it dissipates.

Our minds broaden.

Same thing with hate.

Hate comes up.

Hate is never you know true.

It's always part of the illusion of this physical world.

Universe is a loving universe.

So if hate comes up watch it.

Just watch it.

Give it over.

Give it over.

Don't buy into the storyline.

It will dissipate over time.

If you're steering towards truth and you're steering towards living a life in alignment with your true nature.

The hate will dissipate and you will see more and you will be more loving.

It's a very kind of gradual process and we need this physical life in order to do it which is why we're here.

Okay I hope this helps.

Bless your hearts.
