Let go to grow,
Written and guided meditation by Place in the Middle.
I invite you in this moment,
Begin to settle into a comfortable position,
Whatever that looks like and feels like for you.
And as you start to settle in,
I invite you to close down your eyes,
Allow your eyes to soften,
Your forehead,
Cheeks,
Jaw,
Shoulders,
Torso,
Pelvis,
Legs,
And feet.
Allow yourself to be fully aware of how soft yet still your body has become.
And take a nice,
Long,
Slow breath in through your nose and a nice,
Long,
Slow breath out through your mouth.
Do this two more times.
Notice how your body is feeling.
Noting any areas within the body that perhaps may be holding onto something.
Perhaps it's your forehead,
Your head.
Notice the thoughts that are coming and going,
But notice particularly what thoughts seem to stay longer and have more of a hold on your mind.
Perhaps it is time to let these thoughts go,
For you are not your thoughts.
They are simply just that,
Thoughts.
Notice the placement of your neck,
Chest,
And shoulders.
Perhaps you are holding some of the weight of the world on your neck and shoulders.
What stories and memories are you maybe holding onto within your neck and shoulders?
And now that you've noticed them,
It is time to release them.
It's time to let them go.
You are safe here.
You are safe to let go and safe to release.
Opening your heart center a little more.
Start to breathe into your chest.
Noticing your heart,
The weight of your heart.
The grief or the heartaches that perhaps are still living amongst your heart.
And ask yourself,
Is it time for me to let these things go?
Your pelvis and hips,
They too like to hold onto your past relationships,
Your self-worth,
Your value,
Old memories,
And even past generational trauma.
What is it that you are still carrying forth that you need to tend to within your hips,
Within your pelvis?
And can you allow yourself grace as you release and let go here?
And even your legs and your feet,
They hold onto so much.
They perhaps have carried and traveled throughout these past few months and even years,
Where they need time to also release and let go.
You are not where you traveled.
You are not your past travels.
How can you let go even here through the legs and the feet?
Your entire body has now prepared itself room.
Room to find growth and new experiences,
Opportunities,
Love,
Light,
And whole body well-being.
You now have capacity to welcome in change.
Welcome in this new season,
This being of growth.
What is it that your head is saying to you?
Notice now your thoughts welcoming in thoughts of change,
Thoughts of growth,
Thoughts of new beginnings.
Noticing your heart center.
What is your heart asking for you?
What is your heart now needing?
You are worth this growth.
You are worth this opportunity to take now into what is your truest desires might be.
And bring your awareness back into this space.
Back into your room.
Noticing any sounds or smells.
Bring your awareness now back into your body.
Feeling your heartbeat.
Feeling your breath within your body.
Take a deep breath in here.
And a deep breath out.
Gently flutter your eyelashes open,
Bringing yourself fully back.
Welcome in this time and space of releasing,
Letting go,
And growth.
