Close your eyes and take a moment to honour yourself for taking this time to care for your well-being,
And I invite you to take a few rhythmic breaths.
Now take a long,
Slow exhale,
Inhale through your nose,
Allowing your lungs to fill with fresh,
Enlivening air,
Then exhale slowly and smoothly,
Then just pause and let go,
Releasing any tension or discomfort.
Repeat this pattern of breathing,
Allowing your breath to become your anchor,
Your connection to this moment.
As you continue with your rhythmic breathing,
Allow your awareness to settle on your heart,
Feel its warm,
Radiant energy.
Can you sense the love that resides here,
Waiting to be unleashed?
Envision this love as a glowing light,
Steadily expanding with each breath you take,
And gently guide this loving light down to your toes,
Feeling it infuse every cell with acceptance and appreciation.
Let it wash over your feet,
Releasing any stress or tension that you may be holding there.
How does this sensation feel?
Can you give thanks to your feet for the journeys they have taken you on,
For the support they have given you?
Allow the light to continue travelling up your legs,
Soothing your muscles and joints,
And filling you with warmth and gratitude for their strength and resilience.
As the light reaches your hips and lower back,
Let it gently dissolve any tightness or discomfort.
Take a moment to appreciate the support and stability they provide.
As the loving light moves up through your chest,
Feel your heart expand even further,
As if you were enveloped in a warm,
Comforting embrace.
Offer gratitude to your heart for its endless capacity to love and nurture both yourself and others.
Guide the light towards your arms and hands,
Allowing the warmth to spread through your fingers.
Acknowledging the countless acts of care and creativity they have performed,
Can you feel a sense of appreciation for their abilities and versatility?
Let the light continue to rise,
Filling your neck and shoulders with relaxation and ease.
Offer thanks for the poise they provide,
And the grace with which they carry your head by,

Finally allow the bathe your head and your face,
Washing away any worry,
Doubt or self-criticism.
As you feel the warmth envelop your entire being,
Take a moment to honour the beautiful,
Unique person that you are,
Just as you are.
Acknowledge your beautiful,
Unique self,
And embrace your entire being,
With the warm light of your loving kindness.
Feel the love and appreciation that you deserve,
Permeating every fibre of your being.

And really feel the sensation of that acceptance and love.
