Step one.
Notice.
Just notice how you're feeling today.
Are you happy?
Calm?
Perhaps a little anxious?
Just take a few seconds and check in.
And maybe start to notice whether your face is frowning.
And if it is,
Relax and smile.
Step two.
Breathe.
Just tune into your breath and begin to observe its natural rhythm,
Your inhale and your exhale.
And as you watch your breath,
Start to feel your body and your mind begin to relax.
Everything is easy and calm.
And now just start to picture your breath moving in and out of your heart.
And feel the rhythm of your heart and the rhythm of your breath meeting in this moment,
Providing you with this deep,
Gentle sense of relaxation.
Step three.
Activate.
We live in busy times.
To-do lists,
Notifications,
Pings,
Reminders and calendars punctuate our days and it's easy to feel that there isn't enough time,
That we can't pause,
That we are too busy.
And there is also a part of us that wants to be busy because it seems to be a mark of success in our modern world.
Today is a gentle invitation to let go of that idea and to give yourself permission to pause and to touch the vastness of time.
To allow yourself to feel its spaciousness and that it is available whenever you choose to drop into it.
So just stop now in your busy day.
And feel the air temperature on your skin.
As you listen to my voice,
Hear the other sounds that are in your background.
Notice the smell of the air,
The taste in your mouth.
And just be here now,
Touching time.
Feeling one moment flow after another.
And it's here in this spaciousness that you can take in your life,
Take in your blessings and understand what really matters to your heart.
So give yourself permission to pause from your busyness when you need to and to visit time.
To relax and to smile here.

Beam.
There is room in the busiest of days,
In the busiest of lives,
For kindness,
For generosity,
For the hugeness of your heart.
