Hi,
And welcome to this guided Christian mindfulness meditation.
Come into a comfortable position with your hands at your sides or in your lap.
Allow your eyes to drift close and begin to bring your awareness inward.
Begin to settle into your body by connecting with your breath.
Notice your breath flowing through your body and see if you can notice where you feel it the most,
Maybe at your nostrils or in the rise and fall of the chest or belly.
Notice the movement of your body as you breathe and notice if there's any discomfort there.
If you do notice discomfort,
Simply direct your breath into that space and continue to breathe working towards total stillness.
This can take practice,
So try not to judge yourself.
Simply notice where you're at today and in this moment,
In this practice.
Simply,
Breathing naturally here as you rest in stillness.
As you continue to breathe,
Release your body and its health to God,
Showing gratitude for being fearfully and wonderfully made.
If thoughts arise,
See if you can let them go without any judgment or reaction.
When you find yourself distracted by your thoughts,
Repeat the phrase,
His grace is enough.
Use this affirmation to recenter yourself and return to stillness,
Releasing any distractions to God,
Knowing that when it's time for action,
You'll be supported.
Again,
Silently repeating the phrase,
His grace is enough.
Allow this phrase to return you to quiet stillness.
The N Domination of the Hearts And with each exhale,
Allowing the body to soften.
His grace is enough.
We serve a God who blesses all people through His abundant grace.
From the rising of the sun to its setting.
And just as the sun's rays shine upon you.
God's face shines upon the face of the earth.
May this bring you comfort and security.
Thank you for practicing with me.
You can return to this practice anytime you need some centering and some stillness.
Have a wonderful day.
