When the mind becomes agitated, the body often follows suit by becoming tense. Luckily, the mind-body connection is strong. And as you calm the body, the mind will likewise relax. In this short meditation practice with soothing background music, you'll invite the body and mind to relax by bringing your attention to your breath and using a calming mantra to connect with the intention to be at ease.

Come into a comfortable position.

Let your eyes close naturally,

Allowing the eyelids to gently come together.

The next few moments will help to calm your body and your mind.

Breathe slowly and deeply as you soften the muscles in your face,

The neck and shoulders,

And allow your body to sink into the weight of gravity.

See if you can fully let go.

Now,

Bring your attention to your breath.

Continue breathing slowly and deeply.

Allow it to soothe and calm both your mind and your body.

Breathing in,

May I be calm.

Breathing out,

May I be at ease.

Breathing in,

May I be calm.

Breathing out,

May I be at ease.

Breathing in,

May I be calm.

Breathing out,

May I be at ease.

As this practice comes to an end,

Open your eyes,

Smile,

And enjoy the rest of your day.

Lovely meditation that is short enough to do on my break at work, thank you for the space.

Quick and fast relaxation. I felt better. The end extends past the voice.
