Welcome dear one.
This meditation is part of the Reclaim Your Worth series,
A gentle journey back to yourself,
One step at a time.
You can move through these meditations in order.
Or simply return to the one you need in any given moment.
Today we begin to gently notice and soften the feeling of not being enough.
So take a moment now to settle into a comfortable position.
Allowing your body to feel supported.
Gently close your eyes or soften your gaze.
And begin by noticing your breath.
A natural rhythm of breathing in.
And breathing out.
Allowing your breath to anchor you here in this moment There's nowhere you need to go.
Nothing you need to do.
Just this space to be.
Now slowly begin to bring your awareness into your body.
Starting at the top of your head.
Softening your forehead.
Your eyes.
Your Joe.
Let your shoulders drop.
Releasing any tension you might be holding there.
Allowing your arms to feel heavy,
Supported.
Softening through your chest.
Your stomach.
Letting your breath move naturally without control.
And if it feels okay.
You might place a hand gently over your heart.
Or somewhere on your body that feels comforting.
Just feeling that contact.
That connection.
And now I invite you to gently begin to notice your thoughts.
There's no need to change them or control them.
Just notice them.
Within those thoughts you might begin to recognise a familiar voice.
A quiet voice that says,
I'm not enough.
Maybe it sounds like doubt.
Maybe it sounds like pressure or self-criticism.
This voice has so many faces.
It might tell you you aren't smart enough or successful enough.
It may whisper that you're too old or not young enough,
Too much or never quite good enough.
Different words,
But the same heavy weight.
Just notice how that voice shows up for you,
Without needing to analyse it.
And as you notice it See if you can begin to create just a little space around it.
This voice is something you've learned.
It's not who you truly are.
You don't need to push it away.
Or argue with it.
Just noticing that it's there.
And that you are the one observing it.
Now gently bring your awareness back to your breath.
Letting your breath become a place you can return to.
And as you breathe.
You might gently say to yourself.
This is just a thought.
And again,
This is just a thought.
Let those words land softly.
Creating a little distance,
A little space.
You are not your thoughts.
You are the awareness that notices them.
And beneath all of that,
Beneath the noise,
Beneath the doubt.
There's a quieter place.
A steadier place.
So if you can rest there even for a moment.
There's nothing you need to prove here.
Nothing you need to become.
Just this quiet returning to yourself.
Stay here for a few more breaths.
Noticing the rhythm of your breathing.
The steadiness beneath you.
As we come to the end of this meditation.
Begin to gently bring movement back into your body.
Wiggling your toes.
Wiggling your fingers.
Taking a slightly deeper breath.
And slowly,
When you're ready,
Opening your eyes.
Take a moment before you move on.
Noticing how you feel.
And remembering that voice is not your truth.
If you'd like to continue,
You might explore Day 4.
Where we gently begin to release the need for approval.
But for now,
Just stay with yourself exactly as you are.
Namaste.
